Kim Kardashian Divorce: No Cameras in the Courtroom, Please!

Posted: 15 Apr 2013 10:54 AM PDT

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is not interested in documenting this particular moment in her life.

Sources told RadarOnline.com that the mom-to-be is opposed to having cameras in the courtroom when she and estranged husband Kris Humphries take their divorce to trial May 6.

Humphries, on the other hand, has no problem with it. "Kris doesn't understand why Kim wouldn't want cameras in the courtroom," an insider told Radar. "This is someone that has every move of her daily life documented for reality television, what is the big deal with having it televised? Kim's camp has portrayed Kris as someone that is vengeful and greedy, this is the perfect opportunity for that to be proven."

The Wachowski's Jupiter Ascending Begins Production in London

Posted: 15 Apr 2013 10:37 AM PDT

Jupiter Ascending begins production at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden

Filming is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' Jupiter Ascending, an original science fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski. Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in the film, which began shooting at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden on April 2, 2013.

From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, Jupiter Ascending was conceived and written by the Wachowskis, who are also directing. Award-winning producer Grant Hill, with whom the writer/directors have collaborated since The Matrix Trilogy, is producing the film together with the Wachowskis. Roberto Malerba and Bruce Berman are serving as executive producers.

Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

Channing Tatum (Magic Mike) and Mila Kunis (Oz: The Great and Powerful) lead an international cast that also includes Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables), Douglas Booth (LOL), Tuppence Middleton (TV's The Lady Vanishes), Doona Bae (Cloud Atlas), James D'Arcy (Hitchcock) and Tim Pigott-Smith (Alice in Wonderland).

Behind the scenes, Jupiter Ascending reunites the Wachowskis with their longstanding collaborators, who most recently worked with them on Cloud Atlas. They include Oscar-winning cinematographer John Toll (Braveheart, Legends of the Fall); production designer Hugh Bateup; editor Alexander Berner; costume designer Kym Barrett; and makeup and hair designer Jeremy Woodhead. Jupiter Ascending will showcase the kind of cutting-edge visual effects that have become the benchmarks of the Wachowskis' films. Dan Glass (Batman Begins, Cloud Atlas) is the film's visual effects supervisor, a post he has occupied for the Wachowskis since The Matrix Trilogy. Additionally, John Gaeta, the visual effects Oscar winner behind The Matrix, is contributing to the visual effects design.

The production will remain in the UK at the studios through June, at which time filming will move to Chicago for completion.

Jupiter Ascending will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.

Jupiter Ascending comes to theaters in 2014 and stars Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, Tuppence Middleton, Douglas Booth, Kick Gurry, Jeremy Swift. The film is directed by Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski.

Solo will see the 45 year old secret agent "go solo" in the USA after a mysterious mission in Afica. As for the choice of title, Boyd added: "Titles are very important to me and as soon as I wrote down Solo on a sheet of

The Stone Roses Biographer on Why the British Rock Gods Never Broke Through in America

Posted: 15 Apr 2013 01:00 PM PDT

Dennis Morris

The Stone Roses only released two studio albums during their initial run in the late '80s and early '90s, but that hasn't stopped the Manchester band from gaining mythical status in England. The Stone Roses: War and Peace is a new biography on the Brits by author Simon Spence based on 400 hours of interviews with over 70 of the group's closest associates, including six former band members.

War and Peace is the first major biography of The Stone Roses and was originally planned in collaboration with Reni, their reclusive drummer. The book had been a year in the making when the beloved band announced that they would be reforming. The Stone Roses were one of the headline acts at this past weekend's Coachella festival in Indio, Calif.

Spinner chatted with Spence about the book, The Stone Roses' godlike status in the UK, and why he thinks they never truly broke through commercially in the States.

Anne Frank Museum Says Bieber Comments Were ‘Quite Innocent’

Posted: 15 Apr 2013 09:55 AM PDT

Pop sensation Justin Bieber has blundered again, but the Anne Frank Museum has a different opinion.

While in Amsterdam visiting the museum dedicated to celebrated Holocaust victim Anne Frank, the Biebs wrote in their guestbook, "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."

The remarks caused uproar on social media, with many slamming Bieber for being "self-serving" and "tasteless."

According to Reuters, the museum came to his defense on Monday, saying Justin's comments "were quite innocent," and that the singer was simply referring to how Frank was a typical teen who loved the pop culture of her time.

Micro-News: Why Wasn't Agent Coulson At The MTV Movie Awards, A Helmless Magneto And More

Posted: 15 Apr 2013 09:20 AM PDT

Clark Gregg jokes about why he wasn't at the MTV Movie Awards last night with Joss Whedon, Chris Evans, Samuel Jackson and Tom Hiddleston. They must think I'm really dead RT @oopsitsadi: @clarkgregg Why weren't you at the awards? I love you Clark, #coulsonlives— Clark Gregg (@clarkgregg) April 15, 2013 And over at IndieWire, Clark plainly states he's being resurrected, which is a much clearer answer than the one Joss Whedon gave. "I recently completed a pilot for ABC/Marvel called "SHIELD" which would represent the resurrection of Agent Phil Coulson of the Avengers series...," said Gregg while discussing his upcoming projects. If you were looking forward to finding out why Ian McKellen's Magneto wore a different helmet than the one Michael Fassbender commandeered from Sebstastian Shaw, you might be disappointed. Why don't I need a helmet in "Days of Future Past"? That would be telling and I'm not allowed to. #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast— Ian McKellen (@IanMcKellen)

First Reaction To IRON MAN 3

Posted: 15 Apr 2013 09:10 AM PDT

We won't be getting a full round of reviews for Iron Man 3 for a while, but if you are just looking for one person's opinion on what to expect in terms of overall quality, read on. A JoBlo reader shared his take on the movie after seeing it at a trade screening and seems very impressed indeed, comparing the movie to The Avengers and calling it the "funniest Marvel movie to date" Here's the transcription from the JoBlo podcast in full. "It blows the second movie out of the water, It has some amazing action sequences that are on par with The Avengers. Robert Downey Jr. brings so much to this role that he is completely irreplaceable. Shane Black was a good choice for this one, as he injected his buddy-cop movie style towards the end, and was able to balance great action scenes with a ton of comedy. I heard a
