IRON MAN 3 PRESS JUNKET: Robert Downey Jr. Expertly Deflects Question About Boston Bombings During Press Conference

Posted: 26 Apr 2013 11:12 AM PDT

I don't know about you, but I don't like stars to get all political. I mean, who really cares what an actor thinks about anything that is not in his/her wheelhouse? And I'm surprise how many stars want to risk their likability by giving out their somewhat skewed opinions about polarizing topics--which could possibly end up ruining their careers. Well, for all those "know-it-all" celebrities out there... Take a lesson from Robert Downey Jr., who, when asked about the Boston Bombings during the Iron Man 3 press screening, did a wonderful job answering (and NOT answering) the question... Stay tuned to ComicBookMovie.com for all of our exclusive interviews: - Shane Black On Being A Part Of The MCU Family, & The Weirdness Of Directing Jon Favreau- Guy Pearce Explains the Exremis Virus. Jessica Alba’s Post-Baby Body Secret: ‘A Double Corset’

Posted: 26 Apr 2013 10:42 AM PDT

Actress Jessica Alba revealed her unique way of getting her figure back after having children.

In an interview with Net-a-Porter's magazine, Alba admitted, "I wore a double corset day and night for three months. It was sweaty, but worth it… It was brutal; it's not for everyone."

The "Sin City" star isn't the only celebrity mom using corsets. Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kourtney Kardashian and Jennifer Garner are all rumored to have worn tight-fitting garments to help bounce back after giving birth.

After the comic book movie craze, what will be the next goldmine of source material?

Posted: 26 Apr 2013 08:35 AM PDT

I know when it comes to movies, the only thing that seems to count is how much money a franchise brings in, but if the comic book movie craze ever dies out, what untapped mine will Hollywood dig into for its next source material?

BOX OFFICE: IRON MAN THREE Hits $36.5M Overseas; Gets New Release Date In China

Posted: 26 Apr 2013 10:18 AM PDT

Deadline reports that Marvel Studios and Shane Black's critically acclaimed Iron Man Three has gotten off to an incredible start at the international box office with a whopping $36.5 million in just two days of weekday release. According to the site, the threequel has opened up even bigger than The Avengers in countries including Korea, Argentina, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan and Indonesia. However, a $3.6 million opening in the UK meant it was just 9% behind Joss Whedon's superhero ensemble. It's released today in Mexico, Spain, Venezuela, Japan and Brazil, while it finally hits North America next week. Disney also announced today that the threequel has been given a new release dat in China; May 1st. In 2010, Iron Man 2 grossed $100 million during its opening weekend overseas, but it's thought that this instalment will earn upwards of $110 million (more at this rate). You can read my review of

The UK's Movie Preview Network has launched their Summer of Cinema trailer, which gives the world its first two quick glimpses at director Edgar Wright's The World's End, the third and final installment in his Blood and Ice Cream trilogy starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. We also get a first look at The Alan Partridge Movie starring Steve Coogan. Though, all of that footage has been previously released in trailers and clips seen here over the past few months. Even though this is an international trailer, it should still get you excited for the upcoming summer movie season, which kicks off here in the states with Iron Man 3 next weekend.

Jon Favreau Set to Direct and Star in Chef

Jon Favreau to write, direct, and star in the indie comedy Chef

After taking the reins on blockbusters such as Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Jon Favreau is in talks to write, direct, and star in Chef.

This project is not to be confused with The Weinstein Company's Chef, which has Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy attached to star and Derek Cianfrance (The Place Beyond the Pines) set to direct. The multi-hyphenate will play an emotional chef who runs a Los Angeles restaurant in this indie comedy, if his deal is finalized. The filmmaker is currently in talks with financiers and other actors to join the project.

Jon Favreau's last directorial effort was 2011's Cowboys & Aliens. He has long been attached to Disney's Magic Kingdom, although that project is still in development. The actor-filmmaker made his directorial debut in 2001 with Made, moving on to direct Elf and Zathura before stepping into the Marvel universe with 2008's Iron Man.

As an actor, Jon Favreau will next be seen reprising his role as Happy Hogan in Iron Man 3, and in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street. No production schedule was given for Chef.

Feist Hologram Performs Simultaneously in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver for Samsung

There are some cultures in the world that have in the past -- and still today -- believe that photographing a person can steal their soul.

While the shamans and mystics have yet to rule on the effects of holograms, one thing is for certain -- if you use the power of digital holography to raise the dead it will result in a curse on your business. Just ask bankrupt Tupac hologram maker, Digital Domain.

Nevertheless, Samsung took a risk by transforming Leslie Feist -- also a once-upon-a-time punk rocker with Canadian act Placebo, ex-bassist for drum circle hippies By Divine Right and occasional raunch-rap sidekick to Peaches -- into a hologram for a Samsung Galaxy S4 for launch party last night.
