Posted: 16 Feb 2013 08:07 AM PST

In an interview with Huffington Post, Zachary Quinto talks in depth about his return as Spock in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness this summer. He reiterates prior comments about the highly anticipated sequel being bigger, darker and more action-packed than the 2009 film, and he also discusses his relationship with Leonard Nimoy (the original Spock) and how much of an influence he had on Quinto's take on the character. He then talks more about Abrams moving over to directing Disney's Star Wars: Episode VII, praising him for making such a decision. For the full interview, click the source link below. On Returning To The Role Of Spock And The Pressure Of Being A Part Of Such An Iconic Franchise: "I never felt any pressure from being a part of that franchise, I only felt supported and I only felt supported and I have only felt like my job

TREKWARS: Image Pokes Fun at JJ Abrams' Decision

Describes Thiele, "I happen to be a a fan of both franchises and am actually really curious to see what JJ Abrams will do with Star Wars. I know he'll still be involved with the Trek films as a producer, but I couldn't help but feel like this news was a slap in the face for Trekkies everywhere. Still looking forward to Star Trek: Into Darkness, though!"

PART 2 ROBIN: Who Was Meant to Wear the Red, Yellow & Green?

Posted: 16 Feb 2013 07:51 AM PST

For Part One of this article, please click HERE. Looking at each Robin's career, it's interesting to consider how they work as a "family," since by law they are indeed brothers. The eldest son didn't want to live in his father's shadow his whole life and moved out in a fit of defiance. The middle child was reckless and desperate to be unique from his big brother, which led to his ultimate failure. The youngest is set apart from the other two enough to learn from their mistakes and succeed where the others failed. This is not unlike a typical household, but which is was the "best" Robin? At first glance, it may seem obvious, but the analogy becomes even more interesting when considering their careers after losing the golden "R." Jason Todd was killed, but did have a post-mortem career. Through a series of events that has been retold a few times

I just wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite character actors of the 90's: Michael Jeter (The Fisher King, Waterworld, Fear and Loathing in LV,The Green Mile, etc.) 1952-2003

If you had the magical ticket from 'Last Action Hero' - what movie would you enter?

Posted: 16 Feb 2013 08:06 AM PST

With the entire Criterion Collection free on Hulu right now.... where should I start?

Posted: 16 Feb 2013 08:21 AM PST

I apologize if this thread is already somewhere else on here, but I'm not seeing it. What thoughts / recommendations do any of you have?

I know that I would recommend Seven Samurai, 12 Angry Men, and Rushmore - if any of you have not seen any of those yet, get on it.

What should I be watching for free right now that I have potentially not seen yet?

TWO EDITS: First, you still have to watch commercials, which is ridiculous and utterly gimmicky of them.

Second, the entire collection is not actually available. Just the stuff that was already available apparently.

Help me /r/movies you're my only hope.

Posted: 16 Feb 2013 08:21 AM PST

I'm looking for any films that immediately introduce us to a character, we learn about their day-to-day existence, dreams, beliefs etcetera. (This is done to the extent that the audience even believes we are being introduced to a main character). Only to have them killed off early into the film, and this event being the main catalyst for the narrative of the rest of the film. I've already considered films such as Scream, Psycho, Full Metal Jacket and so forth.
