The studio has also released two photos for Joel Coen and Ethan Coen's new drama that centers on the 1960s folk music scene in New York City. Take a look at these photos featuring Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, and Justin Timberlake, then read the official press release for more details. CBS Films announced today it has acquired US rights to Inside Llewyn Davis. Written and directed by Academy Award-winners Joel Coen and Ethan Coen and produced by Scott Rudin and Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, the film stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, F. Murray Abraham and Justin Timberlake. Inside Llewyn Davis follows an aspiring singer-songwriter (Isaac) as he navigates the 1960s folk-music scene in New York City's Greenwich Village. Grammy-winner T-Bone Burnett produced the film's soundtrack which includes music performed by, among others, Oscar Isaac, Marcus Mumford and Justin Timberlake. Robert Graf served as executive producer, T-Bone Burnett served as executive music producer and Marcus Mumford as associate music producer. Previous collaborations between the Coen Brothers and Rudin include the Academy Award-winning Best Picture of 2007 No Country for Old Men and the multiple-Academy Award-nominated True Grit. Studio Canal is handling international distribution for the film as well as foreign sales. UTA negotiated on behalf of the filmmakers. Inside Llewyn Davis comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Jeanine Serralles, Garrett Hedlund, F. Murray Abraham. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Lands Jason Clarke Posted: 19 Feb 2013 09:20 AM PST Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke has joined the cast of Fox's upcoming sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, a follow-up to 2011's smash hit Rise of the Planet of the Apes. No details were given for Jason Clarke's character. The story is set 15 years after Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The plot focuses on a group of scientists struggling to survive in San Francisco, while Caesar (Andy Serkis) tries to maintain control of his ape kingdom. We reported in December that Rise of the Planet of the Apes star James Franco is not appearing in this sequel. Matt Reeves (Let Me In) is directing from a screenplay by Mark Bomback. Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver are producing. The studio is currently eyeing a spring production start. Jason Clarke also recently starred in Lawless, and will be seen later this year in The Great Gatsby and White House Down. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes comes to theaters May 23rd, 2014 and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke. The film is directed by Matt Reeves.

James Bond Actors Will Not Unite for the 85th Annual Academy Awards 007 Tribue Posted: 19 Feb 2013 08:43 AM PST Back in January, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the 85th Annual Academy Awards will feature a tribute to James Bond, in honor of the franchise's 50th anniversary. While no specific details were released, many have speculated that Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron planned on getting every actor who portrayed 007 together on the Oscar stage. The producers recently shot down this rumor, but revealed their tribute will be quite unique. "It's something else, something very unique and very exciting but no, we're not getting the Bonds together." The latest James Bond adventure, Skyfall, is up for five Oscars this year, including Best Original Song. We reported last month that Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated song at the awards ceremony. The telecast will also feature a tribute to the critically-acclaimed musicals of the past 10 years, including Chicago and this year's Best Picture nominee Les Miserables. Seth MacFarlane hosts this year's Academy Awards ceremony, which airs Sunday, February 24 on ABC. The Academy Awards episode 85.1, "85th Annual Academy Awards" airs on ABC February 24th, 2013. Aniston's credits include The Switch, Marley & Me, The Break-Up, Along Came Polly, Bruce Almighty, The Good Girl and Office Space. She most recently co-starred with Rudd in Wanderlust. Douglas has won Oscars for his performance as Gordon Gekko in Wall Street and as producer of the 1975 Best Picture winner One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Foxx, who garnered a Supporting Actor nomination for Collateral, took home an Oscar for his title role in Ray. Jason Clarke To Star In DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES; New Plot Details Revealed Posted: 19 Feb 2013 08:54 AM PST According to The Hollywood Reporter, rising actor Jason Clarke (who recently was featured in Zero Dark Thirty) has been cast in the lead role in 20th Century Fox's Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, which is eying a spring production start date. It is currently unknown who he will play, but THR offers some brand new details on the plot, which is rather secretive up to this point. The sequel to 2011's Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) who takes over from Rupert Wyatt, "is set 15 years after the events of 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
