| Vampires Invade College in Vamp U Trailer and Poster Posted: 22 Feb 2013 10:01 AM PST  Level 33 Entertainment has unveiled the first trailer and poster for Vamp U, the studio's new comedy that puts a collegiate twist on the vampire genre. Adam Johnson stars as Wayne Gretzky (no relation to the hockey player), a college history professor who hides a horrible secret. He is actually an immortal vampire who can't grow his teeth after accidentally killing the love of his life 300 years ago. His life is upended when a new freshman named Chris (Julie Gonzalo) is a dead ringer for his former lover, leading to a torrid affair and Chris inadvertently becoming a vampire herself. Nicholson has been nominated 12 times and won for his leading performances in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and As Good As It Gets (1997). He also won the award for supporting actor in 1983 for Terms of Endearment. Dustin Hoffman, who has been nominated seven times, won for his leading performances in Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) and Rain Man (1988). Here's what Craig Zadan and Neil Meron had to say in a joint statement. "Between the two of them, Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman have created more iconic characters than any other pair of actors in the world. | The Sapphires Poster with Chris O'Dowd Posted: 22 Feb 2013 08:32 AM PST  The Weinstein Company has unveiled the new poster for The Sapphires, director Wayne Blair's musical comedy that brought down the house at the Cannes Film Festival last year, reportedly receiving a 10-minute standing ovation. The movie is based on the true story of four Aboriginal singers (Deborah Mailman, Jessica Mauboy, Shari Sebbens, and Miranda Tapsell) who travel behind enemy lines to entertain U.S. Vietnam War troops in 1968, lead by their Irish manager Dave (Chris O'Dowd).
