Lindsey Vonn Once Made Fun of Tiger Woods’ Sex Scandal

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 11:24 AM PDT

Sure, it was way before things turned romantic, but Lindsey Vonn once mocked new boyfriend Tiger Woods over his 2009 sex scandal.

In a Time magazine article posted in 2010 Vonn made jokes about the fact Woods admitted he cheated on his wife, Elin Nordegren, with a slew of women.

The article read, "And like millions of Americans, Vonn can't help poking fun at Woods' staged event. When a member of her Vonn-tourage tells her that Woods gave a few friends hugs after ending his statement, she cracks, 'They're like, 'Yeah, you're awesome, you go have that sex!'"

Vonn spoke with "Extra" in 2010 at the Vancouver Olympics about the remarks, and she explained at the time, "It was wrong thing to do, but I was with my friends and someone overheard me. I have to be careful what I say."

'Baby on Board': Kate Middleton and Queen Attend Subway Celebration

Kate Middleton, now five months pregnant, doesn't take the subway anymore, but she's prepared nonetheless, thanks to a "Baby on Board" button from the London Underground staff. According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge accepted the pin in good humor and joked, "I'll make sure to wear it at home."

Howard Collins, Chief Operating Officer of the London Underground, presented the badge, telling the Daily Mail that the pins encourage gentlemen to offer up their seats to expectant mothers on the tube and "saves men the embarrassment of having to guess if a woman is pregnant."

Don't Expect Any Feathered Dinosaurs To Appear In JURASSIC PARK 4

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 10:50 AM PDT

Among the many worries from fans for Universal's Jurassic Park 4 was the possibility that we could see dinosaurs covered in feathers, as opposed to dinos in their classic form. The last installment in the series, 2001's Jurassic Park III, featured velociraptors with feathers. However, Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow, who was recently hired to helm Jurassic Park 4, has taken to his Twitter account to confirm that there will be "no feathers" in the sequel. Trevorrow was reportedly chosen due to his love of the original trilogy and knowing how the world works. Are you happy with the decision to not include feathers? No feathers. #JP4— Colin Trevorrow (@colintrevorrow) March 20, 2013 Jurassic Park 4 has a script written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes), with Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley on board as producers. Mark Millar And John Romita Jr. KICK-ASS 2 Cameos Revealed

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 10:48 AM PDT

This is pretty cool and something I wish more comic book adaptations would consider, especially those based on Marvel Comics characters who don't receive any royalties. It would be a nice gesture to see tiny cameos from Warren Ellis in Iron Man 3 or Ed Brubaker in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In Kick-Ass 2, Millar will be one of the good-guys, a member of Justice Forever while JRJr will be in The Motherfucker's Toxic Mega-Cunts. Romita revealed that during a big battle scene in the film, it was originally planned for the camera to pan to a close-up shot of Mark and John beating the snot out of each other but scheduling logistics prevented that from happenings. Both creators are still in the film but you'll have to keep a sharp eye out for them. Wadlow has promised that he'll get more screentime for the duo in

Only God Forgives Photos with Ryan Gosling and Kristin Scott Thomas

The first official stills from Only God Forgives finds Ryan Gosling's Julian ready to fight before his face gets severely mangaled into a bloody pulp. We also get to see his co-star Kristin Scott Thomas as Julian's mother, and the promise of a samurai sword fight in this thriller that serves as a thematic follow-up to director Nicolas Winding Refn's last film Drive. Only God Forgives is tentatively scheduled for a May 23rd release, and follows a drug smuggler who runs a Thai boxing club out of Bangkok as a front for the family business. When his brother is killed, Julian is forced by his mother to seek revenge, and soon draws the attention of the British police. This leads Julian to a face-off with The Angel of Death, a retired police officer who knows everything and everyone. Will Julian live to see his brother avenged? Ryan Gosling gets off to a promising start in these latest photos, but previously released set photos hint that he is in for a world of pain and suffering.

Kick-Ass 2 Photos Reveal Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. Cameos

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 10:08 AM PDT

When Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters this August, fans will get to see comic book creators Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. in cameo roles, and we have proof with two new photos. Mark Millar is playing a member of Justice Forever alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Kick-Ass, while John Romita Jr. is one of the baddies in The Toxic Mega C---s, formed by Christopher Mintz-Plasse's The Mother F---er in a massive fight scene. Take a look at the photos, then read on for John Romita Jr. speaking about how the cameos came to be.

John Romita Jr. revealed that the producers wanted both of the comic book creators to cameo in 2010's Kick-Ass, although they didn't agree to it. Here's what he had to say about how they finally got in costume for the sequel.

"In the first film, they wanted Mark and I to make an appearance, a cameo. We both felt uncomfortable with cameos, and we just thought we would stand around in the background and each of us was standing around as extras. They wanted to do the same thing with the second film. They wanted us to be in some scenes, and I said, 'No, I'm not going to do cameos. Just throw me in somewhere.' And Mark and I were supposed to, according to the person, were actually supposed to have some close-ups of us in the battle scenes. So even though we weren't going to say anything, we weren't going to utter any words, we were going to be in the big fight scene, so they had both of us costumed. It ended up Mark couldn't stick around for the close-ups because he had meetings with Fox, believe it or not. That day he had like five meetings with five different studio heads and was too busy, so our close-ups were gone. The producer, Tarquin Pack, and I had this wiseass relationship going. He loves to break chops. He asked them to put me in some ridiculous costume but it ended up being all in good fun. They had me in this red, skintight bodysuit and they threw everything you could imagine on top of it. Shoulder pads, knee pads; it looks like something from the future and the past all blown up together into one, and then they put makeup on my face and they put gel in my hair. It was hysterical."

When asked if they will be easy to spot, however, John Romita Jr. said it will take an eagle-eyed viewer to catch their performances.

"Here's the problem: They put us in the fight scene and I was supposed to beat the snot out of Mark in the battle scene, and then they were going to do close-ups of us fighting, and Mark couldn't make it. So we're in the fight scene, but it's really difficult to see us. The director said when we do the third one, he said, 'I'll get you all the close-up.' The photos of me in costume are pretty funny. They're cringe-worthy, but since I have no pride, I don't mind people finding out about them."

Kick-Ass 2 comes to theaters August 16th, 2013 and stars Chloe Moretz, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison. The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow.

NBC hopes 'Hannibal,' 'Revolution' bring spring rejuvenation to bleak ratings

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 10:55 AM PDT

Last fall, downtrodden NBC entered the new season with brave but only modest aspirations. Then, juiced on audience-grabber "Sunday Night Football" and "The Voice," the network vaulted to front-runner status, winning 13 of the season's first 15 weeks. With full recognition that football goes away each January, NBC's bosses prayed that the network's unanticipated surge might propel it across the wintry void. But NBC has been left out in the cold

Don't expect Benedict Cumberbatch to reveal the identity of John Harrison before the film premiere's on May 17th but the actor is being frank about his experience during filming. "[Stark Trek] was wonderful, really terrific, really good fun." The actor goes on a bit more about the fact that it was his admiration for J.J. Abrams that initially drew him to the project but he's slowly becoming more and more immersed in Star Trek fan culture. "When I watched the first of J.J.'s reinvention of the franchise, I got a really strong, joyous kick out of watching all these characters come together for the first time. The fact that it was an origination job is something that made me think, 'Well, I most have made some sort of investment with the story and these characters in the past - I'm doing all these things that are fan

Disney and IMAX Team-Up for a 3D Outer Space Documentary

Disney and IMAX team up for a new 3D outer space movie

IMAX Corporation and The Walt Disney Studios, a division of The Walt Disney Company, today announced an agreement to produce and distribute the latest IMAX 3D cinematic space spectacle from acclaimed filmmaker Toni Myers, who has been crafting mind-blowing movie experiences for IMAX audiences for more than 40 years.

This marks the first time IMAX and The Walt Disney Studios are jointly producing a film together. The companies have previously collaborated on the distribution of numerous films from the groundbreaking release of Fantasia 2000 to the recent successful opening of Oz: The Great and Powerful.

Myers' upcoming 3D film, which is still untitled, will use IMAX's extremely high-resolution photography and videography to offer breathtaking, illuminating views of our home planet from space, exploring the astonishing changes that have occurred on Earth in just the past several decades.

Made in cooperation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the film will explore mankind's future on - and off - the planet, increasing our understanding of the solar system, while also traveling light-years to other star systems to ponder the possibilities of "Goldilocks," an Earth-like planet. The film is expected to be released in 2015.

Here's what The Walt Disney Studios President Alan Bergman had to say about the project in a statement.

"Disney has always been a leader in creating immersive fantasy worlds for audiences, but we know there's no more immersive world than the real one. This is a bird's eye view of our incredible universe and our future in it, and we're looking forward to diving in with the perfect collaborators, Toni Myers and IMAX."

IMAX president Greg Foster also released the following statement about joining forces with Disney.

"We're thrilled to collaborate on our first joint production with Disney. Toni Myers and her team have given us films that have been educating, delighting and astonishing IMAX audiences for many years, and we look forward to continuing the journey with this latest spectacle."

Myers has been editing, writing, producing and directing films specifically tailored for The IMAX Experience since 1971. Her most recent documentary feature film, 2010's acclaimed Hubble 3D, has grossed nearly $53 million in IMAX theaters to date.

Here's what director Toni Myers had to say in her own statement.

"The 1990 IMAX film Blue Planet was the first time we pointed the IMAX cameras from space back to Earth to reveal, on a grand scale, the changes being made to our planet by both natural and human forces. It's marvelous and important to have this new opportunity to show what has happened to our planet since then. The International Space Station is a unique and perfect platform from which to see how our home is evolving, and at the same time explore our exciting future in other worlds."
