Wang Chung 'Tazer Up': '80s Band Returns, Looks Back at Decade's Style 'Constrictions' Posted: 06 Mar 2013 03:00 PM PST Filed under: Concerts and Tours, News, New Music, Exclusive XYQ Management Wang Chung is one of many '80s acts that is often remembered as a one-hit wonder when in fact they dented the charts multiple times. The English duo -- singer-guitarist Jack Hues and bassist Nick Feldman -- enjoyed a string of hits during that decade, the biggest being the smash "Everybody Have Fun Tonight." That song, in which Hues and Feldman famously name checked themselves in the chorus, went all the way to No. 2 in 1986. For better or worse, Wang Chung will forever be thought of by the masses as a "fun" band even though there was considerably more depth to their music. Some of the band's other hits included their hypnotic but catchy debut "Dance Hall Days," the exuberant "Let's Go" and the moodier "To Live and Die in L.A," which served as the title track of the William Friedkin film. But ask the average person on the street to name a tune by Wang Chung and there's no question they'll choose "Everybody Have Fun Tonight."

CONFIRMED (Again!): Disney Working On Standalone STAR WARS Movies Posted: 06 Mar 2013 10:42 AM PST This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, but it will surely act as a relief of sorts for those of you sick of the barrage of conflicting reports and rumours. While no specific names were mentioned, Disney CEO Bob Iger did confirm that the studio is moving ahead with a number of standalone movies based in the Star Wars universe. Below is the reports from the Associated Press. PHOENIX (AP) — Star Wars fans have more than just Episodes 7, 8 and 9 to look forward to. Disney CEO Bob Iger said at the annual shareholders meeting in Phoenix on Wednesday that the company is developing "some standalone movies" featuring Star Wars characters. Joe Retaliation that offers a closer look at Byung-hun Lee's mysterious Storm Shadow. After the events of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, the Joes weren't quite sure if this shady white-clad ninja was still alive, but, obviously he has emerged again to get his revenge on Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and the rest of these war torn soldiers. Byung-hun Lee takes us behind-the-scenes and explains that this sequel delves deep into Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes' back story, revealing that Storm Shadow was framed for his master's murder.
