New TV Spot For Joseph Kosinki's OBLIVION Released Posted: 24 Mar 2013 11:12 AM PDT Tom Cruise stars in Oblivion, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON: Legacy and the producer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Will Tom Hiddleston Have A Cameo In THE MUPPETS... AGAIN? Posted: 24 Mar 2013 10:16 AM PDT Take this news with a grain of salt, but according to the Muppets Henson blog (who cite the actor's Hamilton Hodell page), Tom Hiddleston will be making an appearance in Disney's upcoming sequel The Muppets... Again!. The site says that Hiddleston, who is best known for playing Loki in Marvel's Thor and The Avengers, will play the 'Great Escapo'. No other details are available, but the role will likely be one of many celebrity cameos (which include Christoph Waltz and Ray Liotta) in the film. Again, take this report with a grain of salt for the time being, as the studio has yet to confirm. Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki in Thor: The Dark World, which hits theaters November 8th. What do you think of this news? The Muppets... Again! stars Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell. The film is set to be released March 21st, 2014. Oscar Best Picture Winner March Madness Day 2! Posted: 24 Mar 2013 05:07 AM PDT Alright. We had two upsets yesterday. We'll be going on to round 1 of the southwest bracket. You're voting now on the SW bracket with Lord of the Rings: Return of the King in the 1 seed. Also attached are the results of the first round in the NW bracket. Not surprising to see the 1 & 2 seeds (Godfather & Silence of the Lambs) destroy the competition. 3 and 4 were closer but still sound defeats which tows in line (I enjoy Kramer vs Kramer and The English Patient but I would agree with the r/movies masses that Amadeus and Braveheart are much better films). I'm really not surprised that the 12 seeded Midnight Cowboy upset #5 Million Dollar Baby. I mean, it's March Madness tradition that a 12 beats a 5 and I think MDB is quite an overrated film. Posted: 24 Mar 2013 07:24 AM PDT What are some movies where the guy who's accused is the guy who actually did it? And not with a twist - not "oh we think he's innocent but he's insane and his evil side did it" or vice versa - simply that he's accused, he says he's innocent, his defense attorney is set up as the protagonist, and we find out that yeah, he really did shoot up that bus full of nuns. ? Posted: 24 Mar 2013 08:56 AM PDT Don't get me wrong, Pixar has great storytelling and that made their movies iconic. But the level of details and camera shots in Rango makes it stand out to me as the best animated movie I have ever watched. [link] [7 comments] | ||
