A long-awaited project that will introduce the Front Range's first bus rapid transit system got a huge boost this morning with the presentation of a $54 million Federal Transit Administration grant to the city.

Need help identifying movie...

There's this movie that I remember from when I was a kid, but I have no idea what the title was. It went something like this:

This boy lives with his dad after the mom died or something.
His dad starts dating this new woman.
The new woman is terrible to the boy.
Things start to get weird and the boy somehow figures out the woman is an alien.
He pieces together pages from a ripped up comic book to find her weakness.
He kills the woman and it turns out she was keeping his mom in a cave for months where she has been incapacitated by being covered in this goo stuff.

There's a distinct possibility I saw this on the Disney channel.

I hate The Matrix. What other 'classics' do you dislike and why?

I've seen The Matrix several times and quite frankly I think it's a terrible film. I find the plotline unengaging and highly unoriginal. I do enjoy a host of science fiction films but this has never really done it fo me.

P.S. Please don't denounce me as some kind of heretic.

The Amazing Spider-Man Behind-The-Scenes Photos

Four new behind-the-scenes photos have been released for The Amazing Spider-Man, which swings into theaters nationwide July 3. The photos come from the Tumblr account of William R. Spencer, who served as Andrew Garfield's stunt double in this superhero reboot. We also have a promo banner for Twizzlers, and a brief video featuring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone singing a bizarre Spider-Man themed song. Watch as things get a little stupid.

The Amazing Spider-Man - Peter and Gwen Sing

Andrew Garfield has clarified what this video was made for in a recent interview. Here's what he had to say.

"That was just me and Emma taking the piss. We were given these things to do for different stations and websites, and we said, "This one doesn't make sense." We can't say, "This is so amazing," so we sang it to make fun of it, and we didn't even think they would use it. We were so hyper and we had just gotten our second wind, so we were being just completely stupid and ridiculous."

The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Irrfan Khan, C. Thomas Howell. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

All we really know so far about Meridith Vickers is that she's played by Charlize Theron, likes to do push-ups half naked, and works for The Weyland-Yutani corporation - which means she's probably not the most trust worthy of ladies. Maybe the below vid, which features new footage, will provide a bit more info on the character.. Ridley Scott, director of "Alien" and "Blade Runner," returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race. Prometheus hits theaters June 8th.
