While promoting the DVD/Blu-Ray release of The Woman In Black in an interview with Collider, former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is asked about his thoughts on the growing popularity of comic book movies, as well as if there was a character he would like to play. His answer may surprise you. "Yeah, absolutely. I dunno who's left, I mean a lot of comic books have...they've all been done. I don't think anyone's done The Flash yet, and that's one I'd probably have a go at. Other then that, I'm not sure which comic book heroes are left. Warner Bros. has been developing a Flash movie off and on over the years. Last we heard, the studio had a "solid script". Olympic track and field star Lori "Lolo" Jones recently told HBO's "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" that she's looking for a husband, after revealing on Twitter that she's a 29-year-old virgin.

In an interview Tuesday night, Lolo said she is waiting to have sex because it's "a gift I want to give my husband," adding that she has yet to find a boyfriend.

Cantina Creative's contribution to the visual effects of Marvel's The Avengers involved on-screen graphics aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, lab sequences, Iron Man's HUD and other devices used by Tony Stark. And speaking with fxguide, screen designer Jayse Hansen also provided still photos showcasing his work with Cantina Creative. "For the Helicarrier, it was almost an empty slate at the beginning," explains Hansen. "I started by researching real aircraft carrier screens and then designing based on what purpose each had. We came to the conclusion that Fury's screens would be the overall screens and he would have a high level view of basically everything in the Helicarrier and the world. There would be map screens with globes. We did a lot of maps on this! It also had security cam footage, and video feeds from news footage. Hill's screens were more hands-on with detailed views. The Blu-ray and DVD will be available for pre-order starting Friday, May 25. There will be over three hours of unreleased material in the special features, including an eight-part documentary The World is Watching: Making of The Hunger Games. There will also be interviews with the cast and crew, a featurette about how the film differed from Suzanne Collins' novel, and the full-length propaganda film shown during The Reaping. Here's what Lionsgate's Executive Vice President & General Manager, Home Entertainment Ron Schwartz had to say about the midnight release.

"The motion picture event of the year is poised to become the home entertainment event of the year, and with a midnight launch and midnight retail events scheduled at stores around the country, we expect to replicate the same level of consumer excitement generated by the film's theatrical debut."

The Hunger Games was released March 23rd, 2012 and stars Stanley Tucci, Wes Bentley, Jennifer Lawrence, Willow Shields, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Sandra Ellis Lafferty, Paula Malcomson. The film is directed by Gary Ross.


Spinal Tap Actor Michael McKean Breaks Leg in Manhattan Car Accident

Actor Michael McKean, perhaps best known as fictional rock band Spinal Tap's David St. Hubbins, is in stable condition after being struck by a car yesterday afternoon along Manhattan's Upper West Side.

According to the Washington Post the actor sustained a fractured leg and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital. The publication also reported the New York Daily News had three photos from the accident scene, one reportedly showing a man believed to be McKean on a spine board with a bloodied face.

"Thank you dear people for your love and support," McKean's wife Annette O'Toole tweeted this morning. "@MJMcKean and I so appreciative. He is getting great care. Spirits are good. Grateful, we."
