New Details For Disney XD's MARVEL UNIVERSE Programming Block Posted: 05 Mar 2012 09:57 AM PST TV Guide has some new info about Disney XD's upcoming programming block Marvel Universe, which includes the coming TV series Ultimate Spider-Man and the second season for Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The block also has a batch of shorts and other miscellaneous videos (akin to Cartoon Network's recently launched DC Nation). Check out all the details below: Kicking off the block at April 1st, 11am/10c is the new series Ultimate Spider-Man, which depicts the Web Slinger being trained by Nick Fury to become a true superhero. The creative team includes Paul Dini (Batman Beyond), Brian Michael Bendis (the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series), the production team Man of Action (Ben 10), and Jeph Loeb, the head of Marvel's TV division. Also on April 1st, a second episode of Ultimate Spider-Man will air at 11:30am/10:30c. But the bottle-balancing task proved too difficult for Elliot, the front man of the music group Enova, to handle. Vanessa Hudgens in 'Spring Break' Posted: 05 Mar 2012 10:57 AM PST Actress Vanessa Hudgens posted pictures on Facebook while rehearsing with a gun for the upcoming film, "Spring Breakers." The former "High School Musical" star also added another rehearsal image with co-stars Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, as seen on Daily Mail. The film, co-starring Selena Gomez, tells the story of four girls who plan to fund their spring break by robbing a bank. Actor James Franco portrays a drug dealer who helps the girls out of their self-made mess. Hudgens told E! Online, "I'm certainly not one who is going to rob a bank. But there is a part of me that loves smashing things and I get to do that." "Spring Breakers" will break into theaters in 2013.

Report: Whitney Houston Had an Affair with Jermaine Jackson? Posted: 05 Mar 2012 10:31 AM PST Singer Whitney Houston allegedly had a secret year-long fling with Jermaine Jackson, says U.K. newspaper The Sun. The two worked together in the early '80s on Houston's first album and the affair began then, while Jermaine was still married to Hazel Gordy, daughter of Motown founder Berry Gordy. Whitney's 1985 No.1 hit, "Saving All My Love for You," was reportedly based on the affair with Jermaine, with the pop diva hiring a Jermaine lookalike to play the role of her lover in the video. Jackson's brother, Michael, was among the few people who knew about the liaison, but did not approve of it. Whitney and Jermaine never lost touch, even after the affair ended; with the paper reporting that she comforted Jermaine when Michael died in 2009. Jermaine, 56, was set to attend Houston's funeral February 17 but was reportedly too grief-stricken. Another song from her new album, "MDNA," is titled, "Bang Bang," and has more personal lyrics: "Bang bang, shot you dead/Shot my lover in the head/Now my lover is dead/And I have no regrets/He deserved it/And I'm going straight to hell." Madge and Ritchie wed in 2000, and after their divorce in 2008, her ex reportedly walked away with a $92-million settlement. They share custody of sons Rocco and David Banda.
