'DWTS' Star Maria Menounos to Perform in Week 2... with Broken Ribs!

Posted: 26 Mar 2012 10:41 AM PDT

"Extra" host Maria Menounos' secret is out!

Page Six reported the "Dancing with the Stars" contestant broke two ribs while rehearsing with partner Derek Hough, but Menounos tells "Extra's" Renee Bargh in her first interview since the injury that she is not letting it get her down.

victoria-justice.jpg

Maria laughed, "What injuries? We're fine!"

Hough explained the injury. "There's this one move in which she lands on my knee." Maria added, "His knee is really hard and my ribs are really soft."

Meanwhile, hot contestant William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke are rehearsing their quickstep routine. Renee asked if strutting around half naked on a beach with Jennifer Lopez in her music video helped him prepare.

Levy smiled, "No! Doing that video I didn't have to do anything about dance. So when I came over here and Cheryl was telling me to do everything, I was like, 'Why are you making me dance so much? I thought you were just going to dance around me and make me look good.'"

Contestant Martina Navratilova isn't too worried about facing a possible elimination this week. "There's a lot of people who are better dancers than I am, but they don't have that much room for improvement so how much better can I get? Only by voting for us and letting us stay on for two months will you see that improvement. So please, number 9!"

Stay tuned for all the performances when "Dancing with the Stars" airs tonight on ABC!

Jason David Frank Wants A POWER RANGERS Movie In The Style Of THE DARK KNIGHT

Posted: 26 Mar 2012 10:39 AM PDT

I recently got a chance to attend The Lexington Comic and Toy Convention. During the Power Rangers Zeo reunion, Jason David Frank, also know as The Green Ranger, spoke a little bit about how he wanted a darker version of the "Power Rangers." At 26:01 I think Haim Saban is very silly not to take those Rangers that we were and make a Dark Knight series out of it for you guys. It would be nice if they did something like that, something a little bit more darkish; use those characters; take the White Ranger back, make it like Batman or something. Thats cool as long as you punch someone in the face I am sure if Fox still had rights to "Power Rangers" we would probably see something like this. Sound off below

The Automaton in Hugo... *SPOILERS*

Posted: 26 Mar 2012 09:04 AM PDT

So Méliès created the automaton before he ever heard of movies, and even used parts from it to make his first camera, and then never got around to fixing the automaton.

If so, how did it have the program for the trip to the moon picture years before Méliès made the film? I know hugo thinks the message is from his father, but there's no way he could have replaced all the parts that make it draw.

Am i missing something or is this a plot hole?

In preparation for this weekend, my brother and I are looking for some great underdog movies. What are your favorite underdog stories?

Posted: 26 Mar 2012 09:45 AM PDT

Sports movies will, of course, be the majority of the responses and they are extremely welcome, but I'm also particularly interested in underdog stories which are not also sports flicks.
