Moonlight Bride 'Lemonade' Video Premiere: A Tribute to Summer Boredom

Moonlight Bride

Moonlight Bride began as a noise-pop band in the industrial outskirts of Chattanooga, Tenn. Since then, the band has wiped away some layers of noise and replaced them with a dynamic melodicism reminiscent of the Smashing Pumpkins.

Their latest EP, Twin Lakes, cashes in on their strong pop sensibilities. Their single "Lemonade" contrasts that with the malaise that plagues the dog days of summer.

Art vs. Entertainment

Posted: 28 Mar 2012 09:50 AM PDT

This is a question that has always intrigued me. When watching films, where do you draw the line between art and entertainment? Shouldn't a great movie give you pleasure to watch it? What would make a movie art, say, if you never desired to watch it again? I guess this goes with my hatred of people distinguishing the "best" films from their "favourite" ones as if they have to make excuses for liking the movies they do and try to appear knowledgeable by listing "proper" films as the best.

Blomkamp, you set this up perfectly for a district 9 sequel. Where is it? (Spoilers)

It's been 3 years. "3 years, I promise." The alien said 3 years. Why wouldn't someone run with this? "

He's said that if there is interest he'd like to do it if there is enough interest. Is anyone else interested?

He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. The dysfunctional

Prometheus Aims for an R Rating Promises Ridley Scott

Ridley Scott discusses Prometheus' R rating and the space jockey

Among the many unanswered questions fans may have regarding Prometheus, one of them is what the MPAA rating will be. Director Ridley Scott recently said that he is aiming for an R rating, although it could be tailored for a PG-13 release.

"The question is, do you go for the PG-13, [which] financially makes quite a difference, or do you go for what it should be, which is R? Essentially, it's kinda R. It's not just about the blood, it's about ideas that are very stressful. I'm not an idiot, but I'll do everything I can to get the most aggressive film I can."

The filmmaker also spoke about the space jockey, and how he was surprised that Alien sequels Aliens and Alien 3 didn't explore this character.

"[I've wanted to revisit it for] years! Years, years, years. I always wondered when they did [Aliens] 2,3 and 4 why they hadn't touched upon that, instead of evolving into some other fantastic story. They missed the biggest question of them all: who's the big guy? And where were they going? And with what? Why that cargo? There's all kinds of questions."

Since Prometheus doesn't hit theaters until June 8, we likely won't know what the MPAA rating will be for at least another month or so.

Prometheus comes to theaters June 8th, 2012 and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

'Extra' Sources: Ashton Kutcher and Rihanna Not a Couple

Posted: 28 Mar 2012 10:46 AM PDT

Following reports that Ashton Kutcher and Rihanna were having late-night hookups, both stars were bombarded by paparazzi asking about their rumored romance. An "Extra" source revealed the good-looking duo is NOT a couple and are "absolutely not dating."

Ashton, 34, was spotted leaving "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday night, and while signing autographs, a paparazzo inquired about Rihanna, who is currently in London. The actor kept mum and continued to sign autographs before smiling and walking away.

Rihanna, who attended the UK "Battleship" press conference on Wednesday, was asked if Kutcher would be joining her in London for her promotional trip. The singer, 24, responded, "Wow, how disappointing was that question?" She added, "I'm happy and I'm single, if that's what you're asking."

Meanwhile, Ashton is reportedly negotiating a million-dollar-an-episode deal to return next season as Walden Schmidt in "Two and a Half Men."

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is calling on native son Bruce Springsteen to step up and help Atlantic City by performing at the new Revel casino on Labor Day weekend.

The governor made the plea Tuesday during a tour of the new casino, which opens Monday. The facility wouldn't have been finished without state tax incentives.

The governor views Revel as the centerpiece of an effort to revive the fortunes of Atlantic City, where the casino business has been on a long downward spiral.

First Trailer For Dreamworks' RISE OF THE GUARDIANS

Posted: 28 Mar 2012 10:34 AM PDT

When an evil spirit called Pitch becomes bent upon taking over the world by inspiring fear in the hearts of kids everywhere, a group of our greatest heroes — Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and Jack Frost — band together for the first time, determined to stand in Pitch's way. More than a collection of storybook subjects, The Guardians are also a band of superheroes, who possess their own special powers. Now joined in opposition of a common foe, the Guardians heed the call and combine their powers to defeat Pitch and protect the world from his campaign of fear. Could be a good un I think. It's based on the book by William Joyce and features the voice talents of Alec Baldwin as North (Santa,) Chris Pine as Jack Frost, Hugh Jackman as Bunnymud (Easter Bunny), Isla Fisher as Tooth (I think you can guess that one)
