Posted: 19 Mar 2012 11:32 AM PDT "Extra" is with all the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 14 contestants, including our own Maria Menounos, who is "nervous but ready" for her big premiere Monday! Sherri Shepherd challenged Menounos, saying, "Maria, I have seen you. You look amazing in a bikini... but I'm going to get you, girl. And I don't have to wear a bikini!" Meanwhile, opera singer Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas are already shooting down romance rumors after one steaming pic was released. Jenkins told "Extra" host Mario Lopez about the photo, "We knew each other for about 12 hours!" Plus, check out behind-the-scenes video with Maria and partner Derek Hough! Posted: 19 Mar 2012 11:22 AM PDT The CW has our first look at Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen (aka The Green Arrow) in their upcoming pilot Arrow. Check him out at TVweb: clickHere After being marooned for five years on a remote island, former billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) returns with a mysterious agenda and a lethal set of new skills that he uses to fight a war on crime in The CW's Arrow. Arrow's suit was designed by three-time Oscar&#174-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood (Dark Shadows; Snow White and the Huntsman). Arrow pilot director/executive producer David Nutter had this to say. "When I directed the pilot for Smallville, I knew that making Clark Kent relatable would be the key to audiences believing in him as a hero. Arrow is a different show...Darker and harder-edged...But it's the same core idea. We're creating a real, believable world in which Oliver Queen can do incredible things. Colleen Atwood's great work on the Arrow costume reflects that effort." Arrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Evil Queen Face-Off: Charlize Theron vs. Julia Roberts Posted: 19 Mar 2012 11:10 AM PDT Two of Hollywood's biggest stars take on the role of an evil queen; Charlize Theron in "Snow White and the Huntsman," and Julia Roberts in "Mirror Mirror." "Extra" caught up with Charlize at Anaheim, Calif.'s WonderCon over the weekend, and she and co-star Kristen Stewart joked about a competition stirring between their film and "Mirror Mirror." Charlize declared, "We are gonna take you down... other 'Snow White' movie!" Theron turned to Stewart, and laughed, "It's amazing to me, I feel like if we sold some pay-per-view tickets to a fight, of you and Lily [Collins], and Julia [Roberts] and me, like, we can make a lot of money!" Theron, 36, recently adopted a baby boy named Jackson, and gushed, "It's been exactly what I wanted." A few cities away, Julia Roberts walked the red carpet at the premiere of "Mirror Mirror" at Grauman's Chinese Theatre on a wet Saturday. The Big Screen Derek sat out Season 12 of "DWTS" to star in the feature, "Cobu," about a pair of star-crossed dancers who battle in underground dance clubs in New York City. The film is due in late 2012. Derek also played a Hogwarts Schoolboy in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." 'DWTS' Career Derek has partnered with three models (one win), three actresses (one win), and two singers (one win), but has never had an athlete for a partner. He also remains the only pro who has taken all of his partners to week 7 in the competition, and 7 of his partners to week 9. Dancing DNA The "Footloose" and "Burlesque" star Julianne Hough is Derek's sister, but the entire family shares a love for dance! His parents met in a Ballroom Dance class in college, and his oldest sister is a dance teacher in Utah. Competition King While training as a young dancer, Derek attended various competitions including the New York City Dance Alliance and L.A. Underground, winning NYCDA's Junior Male Outstanding Dancer title. His other titles include: World Under 21 Latin American Champion, two-time Open British Champion, two-time International "Open to the World" Champion and two-time US Open Champion.
