| Syfy Passes on Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome Posted: 22 Mar 2012 11:39 AM PDT   Earlier today, the Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome trailer was released, which gave some fans hope we would eventually see this series come to fruition. However, Syfy has decided to not order Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome as a TV series, but plans to develop it as a digital web series. Take a look at the trailer which was released today, along with the statement from Syfy president Mark Stern Battlestar Galactica Blood And Chrome Season 1: Trailer"Though the vision for "Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome" has evolved over the course of the past year, our enthusiasm for this ambitious project has not waned. We are actively pursuing it as was originally intended: a groundbreaking digital series that will launch to audiences beyond the scope of a television screen. The 90-minute pilot movie will air on Syfy in its entirety at a future date." Syfy ordered the Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome pilot back in October 2010, although the pilot was not completed until last November. Luke Pasqualino stars as a young William Adama in the pilot, which takes place during the 10th year of the Cylon War.

Michael Bay has decided to make the turtles aliens in the new live-action film and the fans reacted extremely negative. But, will the fans still be so negative when the creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kevin Eastman, tells you what Michael Bay is doing with the property is "AWESOME"? Kevin Eastman - "Hey Guys, Sorry to have been away for so long--completely swamped with work--but it is some pretty exciting stuff. I had been invited to check out the TMNT film development by my friend Scott Mednick over the years, and a while back had a full look behind the curtian at what writers Appelbaum and Nemec, director Liebesman, and producer Bay are doing--and trust me--it IS AWESOME. | Cosmopolis Trailer with Robert Pattinson Posted: 22 Mar 2012 11:28 AM PDT  The first teaser trailer and a new poster have debuted for Cosmopolis, which hits theaters later this year, but doesn't have a release date set. Twilight's Robert Pattinson stars in director David Cronenberg's futuristic thriller, and those on Team Edward are about to get a whole new look at the actor in this teaser. Cosmopolis comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Mathieu Amalric, Samantha Morton, Paul Giamatti, Sarah Gadon, Jay Baruchel. The film is directed by David Cronenberg.

Broncos footballer Tim Tebow has signed a deal to play for the NY Jets, and now both eligible bachelors will share the spotlight as quarterbacks.  Tebow, 24, will earn $11.25M on a 5-year contract, while the more seasoned Sanchez, 25, signed a new deal that will pay him $20M over the next two years. Tim, known for his moment of silence and prayer before each game in a pose dubbed "Tebowing," has publicly said he is a virgin and is saving himself for marriage. On the other hand, Sanchez is known to be quite the ladies' man and has been linked to model Kate Upton and Kim Kardashian. "Extra's" Adrianna Costa spoke to Tim at last summer's Espy Awards, asking about his dating life and who he had his eye on. Tebow replied, "Oh, no one right now." Tebow has been linked to Olympian Lindsey Vonn, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry -- who dedicated a song to Tim during her Super Bowl performance. It was said that Perry's religious parents were trying to set her up with the handsome athlete. Sanchez also spoke with Adrianna, saying he is currently single, and that any girl he dates "needs to pass the mom test. That's the first thing." He added, "I like someone who likes to have fun." |

| Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days: Jackie Warner Workout Secrets Posted: 22 Mar 2012 10:56 AM PDT Fitness expert Jackie Warner wants you to know you can lose "10 Pounds in 10 Days." She gave "Extra" some great tips from her new book on how to do it! "The key to fast weight loss is you have to increase your calories each 10-day phase," Warner said.  Warner explained what foods work best when trying to lose weight. "You have to have apples. They contain superstar ingredient pectin, major fat burner. Another one would be grapefruit. Also eat eggs. I suggest two whole eggs a day, which actually lowers cholesterol. Oatmeal for the fiber and chicken, which has tons of amino acids." The trainer also highlighted the bad foods. "Get rid of all white flours, all white breads, white rice. All cookies, pretzels, crackers, croutons -- these are things to dump." And of course, you need to exercise, which Warner said you must do every day. "You can make 20 minutes a very effective workout if you combine into supersets." What's the biggest mistake people do when they start to diet and exercise? "They starve themselves," replied Warner. "When I train morbidly obese clients, the thread of commonality is they were all starving themselves and then they were so starving for dinner. They'd consume mindlessly eating 5,000-7,000 calories, and guess what, folks. It's not hard to do. Don't starve yourself." | John Edwards Unleashes Legal Team on Call Girl Story Posted: 22 Mar 2012 11:08 AM PDT Former Presidential candidate John Edwards is slamming the scandalous report that said he hired a high-priced call girl from "Soccer Mom Madam" Anna Gristina's alleged prostitution ring. The story, which is creating major buzz on the web, was first reported by DNAinfo.com -- which claimed an investigation revealed Edwards allegedly hooked up with one of the prostitutes in 2007 when he brought his presidential campaign to New York City.  Edwards' attorneys quickly denied the allegations in a statement: "Mr. Edwards categorically denies that he was involved with any prostitute or service. These allegations are false, defamatory, and he puts those who would publish or repeat them on notice that they acting with actual malice by reporting or repeating them. He has demanded a complete retraction from the only source being quoted." In a response, DNAinfo said they are standing by their story. "Extra" contacted the New York City District Attorney's Office, which declined comment. Records show that the Edwards campaign spent thousands on monthly stays at the NYC Loews Hotels Regency on Park Avenue, where John reportedly first met videographer Rielle Hunter -- who had Edwards' love child, while his wife, Elizabeth, was dying from cancer. According to the National Enquirer, Hunter, 48, wants to get pregnant with Edwards' second child before his campaign corruption trial starts next month. Edwards is accused of using nearly $1 million in campaign donations to cover up the affair he had with Hunter. The trial is set to begin in April. It was delayed in January, when Judge Catherine Eagles cited two letters from a cardiologist saying the former senator would undergo a medical procedure in February. |
