THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: New Still Reveals Another Scene Cut From The Movie? Posted: 18 Aug 2012 09:58 AM PDT The Amazing Spider-Man was certainly successful in rebooting the franchise, but as has been pointed out many times here on CBM, it didn't REALLY tell "The Untold Story" we were promised. Various trailers and stills have revealed many scenes which clearly ended up on the cutting room floor, with one fan piecing an entire sequence together in the sewers which featured a confrontation between Spider-Man, The Lizard and Dr. Ratha. Rumour has it that Sony weren't pleased with the first cut (which would have apparently focused more on the origins of Peter Parker's powers) and numerous reshoots altered the tone of the film dramatically. There's nothing too major below, just a slightly alternative take on a scene which WAS in the film, although it's yet another moment one can only hope will be featured on the DVD and Blu-ray.
