16 Things Morrissey Hates -- Including Canada, Dogs, Rollercoasters & Rain

Former Smiths lead singer Morrissey is a curmudgeon of near-legendary proportions.

The caustic British 53 year old isn't shy about voicing his opinions on things, and those opinions usually involve outlandish, withering insults directed at his enemies. For example, a couple weeks ago he teed off against the "blustering jingoism" of the London Olympics with a sideline rant connecting England to Greece and Nazi Germany in 1939.

Yeah.

These tirades have made him more than a few enemies over the years -- it's reached the point where other bands write songs about how much they hate him -- but it's also made him someone who's always worth paying attention to.

Best fight scene ever?

Posted: 23 Aug 2012 10:41 AM PDT

I think there is a pretty standard list of these in everyone's mind, but I'm still interested in hearing r/movies thoughts. Any really obscure ones that I may have missed? Which do you like and why?

I think the penultimate fight scenes are:

1:Tom Yum Goong (aka the protector) - uncut hotel scene

2:Ip Man - That scene where he fights the 10 black belts. The ferocity of that scene caught me off guard.

3:Fist of Legend - I knew about Jet Li before this one, but damn. The scene where he fights the entire rival school? Awesome.

4:Lionheart - OK, this one is pure cheese, but I'm not embarassed to admit it always gives me man-tears. When his buddy says he bet on the other guy, and JCVD says "wrong bet". Badass.

Soany others r/movies ?

Check it out, it might turn out to be pretty cool despite the long wait time (or it might turn to dust as soon as it hits the screen).

And if it is not exciting, then I'll find a way to make it exciting. It can't just be a snooze. You got to get out there and let people know what your ideas are and the way you are running."

Dane DeHaan “Would Love To” Reunite with Josh Trank for the FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot

Posted: 23 Aug 2012 09:57 AM PDT

Although the long-awaited Fox-distributed project is years away, famed Chronicle helmer Josh Trank is still signed on to direct the reboot of Marvel's First Family, the Fantastic Four. And after learning this while doing press for his upcoming "prohibition-era gangster film," Lawless, rising Chronicle star Dane DeHaan discussed possibly reuniting with Trank for the forthcoming superhero film, Hollywood Outbreak reports. "Thank you, you should publish that," DeHaan jokingly responded after a journalist told him he'd make a great Human Torch. "My guilty pleasure is superhero movies, I love superhero movies," he admits. "I think a lot of them are really actually great movies. A lot of times people say ʻOh [they're all] the same thing.' For instance, like Spider-Man; I've seen that superhero movie before, a lot. But, it wasn't necessarily anything new to me, but I thought they did it so well and it was such a human story.
