The Wolverine Set Photos Reveal Hugh Jackman's New Look Posted: 02 Aug 2012 11:05 AM PDT Earlier this week, production started on The Wolverine, 20th Century Fox's upcoming superhero sequel starring Hugh Jackman. Today, we have our first look at Hugh Jackman on the set, as he poses with the mayor of Australia's Sutherland Shire, Carol Provan. Take a look at the photos featuring the actor sporting his trademark spiked hair. You can also read on to see what he had to say about the production so far. The actor showered praise upon the Kurnell location, revealing that this is the first time he had been to the area. "It's a beautiful spot here. This is the first time I've been to Kurnell and the location is great." He also spoke about his rigorous schedule, including early-morning workout sessions. "Yesterday I was up at half past three and this morning I was up at quarter to five. They got to do some shots without me this morning, so I got a bit of a sleep in." Today is the second and final day of shooting in Kurnell, before the production moves on to other locations outside of Sydney. Production will wrap in late November. The Wolverine comes to theaters July 26th, 2013 and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee, Svetlana Khodchenkova. The film is directed by James Mangold.

Third Taken 2 International Trailer Posted: 02 Aug 2012 11:00 AM PDT Following the domestic trailer from earlier this week, 20th Century Fox has released the third international trailer for Taken 2, director Olivier Megaton's upcoming action sequel. After saving his daughter (Maggie Grace) from kidnappers in Taken, Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) goes on vacation with his family in Istanbul. The action takes a unique turn when Bryan and his wife are kidnapped, and Kim must spring into action to save them. Take a look at new footage from this action-thriller. Dan Aykroyd Says Ghostbusters 3 Has Lost Bill Murray Again Posted: 02 Aug 2012 11:02 AM PDT The lengthy saga of Bill Murray's up and down involvement with Ghostbusters 3 has, for now, come to an end. Dan Aykroyd confirmed in a recent interview that the comedic actor has bowed out once and for all. Here's what he had to say, when asked if Bill Murray will be a part of the sequel. "No, I can tell you he won't be involved. It's sad but we're passing it on to a new generation. Ghostbusters 3 can be a successful movie without Bill. My preference would be to have him involved but at this point he doesn't seem to be coming and we have to move on. It's time to make the third one." We reported in December that Bill Murray reportedly hated the script by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg (Year One, Bad Teacher). Then, in February, it was confirmed that the actor would not be involved... until Bill Murray revealed in April that, "It's a possibility" that he returns. Dan Aykroyd also confirmed that the sequel will feature a young crop of Ghostbusters. "Yes, we've got a brilliant new writer on it and we'll be passing the torch on to a new generation. We're working on it to make it just right to satisfy our fans. I'm confident we'll be in production in the next year. Now we've got the studio on side. We've tried a few concepts which weren't right but now we've got a good structure and will make it happen." We reported last month that Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) is writing the screenplay, although it isn't known if Ivan Reitman will be back to direct. Ghostbusters 3 is in development and stars Sigourney Weaver, Anna Faris, Eliza Dushku, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Annie Potts, Ernie Hudson. The film is directed by Ivan Reitman.
