Pierce Brosnan joins the Susanne Bier project All You Need Is Love

Actor Pierce Brosnan will star in the next project from Danish director Susanne Bier entitled All You Need Is Love. Susanne Bier will direct from her own script, and it is said that the filmmaker wrote the part with Pierce Brosnan in mind.

No plot details were given, although this will be a romantic comedy that centers on a Danish family. It isn't clear yet if this will be an English-language project, Danish or bilingual. Here's what Susanne Bier had to say about the project.

"It's a tender story with a much lighter atmosphere than my previous works: Enough with conflicts."

Here's what Pierce Brosnan had to say about the movie, which is equal parts comedy and drama.

"It's a comedy -- a love story which has punch and deals with loss and a great love."

Filming will start on All You Need Is Love in Amalfi this spring. Susanne Bier took home an Oscar last weekend for Best Foreign Language Film with In a Better World.

G.I. Joe 2 Only Bringing Back Duke, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadow!

Posted: 04 Mar 2011 09:48 AM PST

Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are two of three returning characters in G.I. Joe 2

Actress Rachel Nichols sent out an interesting tweet last night from her verified Twitter account, which revealed that only three original G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra cast members will return for G.I. Joe 2. Here's her tweet below.

"G.I. Joe 2 News Flash: The only characters to return in the Jon Chu directed sequel will be Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Duke...

Rachel Nichols played Shana "Scarlett" O'Hara in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. It seems she won't be returning for the sequel. Channing Tatum portrayed Duke, Ray Park played Snake Eyes, and Byung-hun Lee was Storm Shadow.

We reported last week that Jon M. Chu will direct G.I. Joe 2, from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. That report also indicates that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sienna Miller, who played villains Rex Lewis and The Baroness in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, would not return.

It isn't clear when production will start on G.I. Joe 2.

G.I. Joe 2 comes to theaters in 2012.
