| Is Michael Clarke Duncan Voicing Kilowog In Green Lantern? Posted: 29 Mar 2011 10:40 AM PDT Michael Clarke Duncan is something of a favorite when it comes to CBM fan casting. Many feel his size and booming voice, not to mention decent acting chops, fit quite a few larger than life characters such as Darkseid, Apocalypse and Kilowog. Well, Duncan may not be physically playing him(CGI will take care of that) but it looks like he lend his distinctive voice to the double tough drill instructor in Martin Campbell's Green Lantern. According to Latino Review... I've been on the hunt for this story for a hot minute and I got from it two sources tonight, that although at press time not a done deal but that... Michael Clarke Duncan is in talks to voice KILOWOG, a towering member of the Green Lantern Corps who is the primary trainer of the Corps' newest recruits. | New Green Lantern Trailer To Be Released With Thor In May! Posted: 29 Mar 2011 09:09 AM PDT Warner Bros. is still working hard on their latest comic book adaptation Green Lantern directed by Martin Campbell. Other than the trailer in November we haven't seen anything new. Well, the reason for that is because 3-D and special effects aren't finished. L.A Times had a chance to talk with Jeff Robinov about the marketing. We are on a learning curve in getting 3-D materials and marketing materials on the same schedule. The advertising campaign "has been delayed strictly from production." The plan wasn't to delayed the marketing campaign, on which Robinov just said: ""We won't be in this position again." As for the new trailer, studio is planning to release it with Marvel Studios' Thor in May: "Warner is finally showing new promotional material to exhibition executives at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week and to fans at the WonderCon convention in San Francisco this weekend. "AMC has officially authorized production of season 5 of Mad Men, triggering our option with Lionsgate. While we are getting a later start than in years past due to ongoing, key non-cast negotiations, Mad Men will be back for a fifth season in early 2012." The network made a similar move two years ago, greenlighting a new season before their negotiations with Matthew Weiner were finalized. Although this new deal would make Matthew Weiner one of the richest showrunners in television, with a deal worth $30 million over two seasons, he still has issues with a few points in the deal. The network wants to cut two minutes from each episode, to make room for more commercials, and AMC also wants to integrate product placement into the show. Matthew Weiner is disputing both these points, along with the network's desire to eliminate two regular cast members. Although production has been "authorized" by AMC, there is still no timetable on when Season 5 of Mad Men will actually go in front of cameras. |
