New GAME OF THRONES: Season 2 Featurette Puts Spotlight On The Extras

Posted: 20 Feb 2012 10:12 AM PST

It's an interesting process, surely. As a fan of George R. R. Martin it was definitely interesting to see HBO's interpretation of the characters and landscape versus what I'd previously imagined in my head. As you can see in the video above, HBO has certainly made Westeros and the other locales very grimy and gritty, which is true to the depictions from the books. Rumor has it that HBO is filming Season 3 and 4 back-to-back so any CBMers living in Ireland or other GTO filming locations, this is what you'd go through if you wanted to be on the show. Season 2 returns April 1st with more Hodoring than you can shake a Hodor at! Running Time: 60 minutes Release Date: April 2012 (Season 2) TV Rating: TV-MA for sex & nudity, violence & gore, profanity, alchohol/drugs/smoking and frightening/intense scenes Starring: Mark Addy, Michelle Fairley, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey,

The film centers on a Manhattan couple (Aniston and Paul Rudd), who after finding themselves at a crossroads in life and decide to experiment with living in a rural commune where free love rules.

"Nothing about that lifestyle appeals to me," laughed Aniston. "In my 20s, I was as hippie as I bought vintage clothing."

Theroux added, "I would not be going to that place. I like better food than what they were serving."

Aniston said she works out but she also eats. "It's not like I'm eating like a twig lettuce leaf with a piece of tuna on it. Actually, that does sound kind of good." The actress admitted her biggest food craving is salt. "That's Mexican food. Salt, salt, salt. I used to suck on bullion cubes, not lollipops."

As for Theroux's character in the movie, he plays an alpha male. Is he like that in real life? Aniston said, "Absolutely not. But he's a protector, for sure."

Jennifer said the most important qualities in a relationship are "Making sure you take time out to talk with each other, experience things together." Theroux added, "kindness, honesty - and a sense of humor."

COMICS: Variant Cover For BATMAN #7 Revealed

Posted: 20 Feb 2012 09:59 AM PST

Via DC's The Source blog, we have our first look at the variant cover for Batman #7, drawn by Dustin Nguyen. In this issue, which releases next month, the Court of Owls storyline continues as the Court prepares for its most deadly attack yet. "While reading Scott Snyder's script, there was an act that really stuck with me," Nguyen told The Source. "It was a scene where Batman was mixed with pain, fear, and shock. I thought that was a powerful moment in the issue and decided to base the cover off of that moment." I've been loving this series so far. It's definitely the best Batman story I've read in a very long time, and the last issue (which came out last week) just proves that the series gets better with each issue. I can't wait to read the next issue. Check out the solicitation for Batman #7 below: Batman may

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: Rhys Ifans Reveals New Details About The Lizard

Posted: 20 Feb 2012 09:37 AM PST

In the latest issue of Empire Magazine, Rhys Ifans has talked more about his role in The Amazing Spider-Man. Below is an excerpt from the Q&A, but be sure to pick up the issue when it goes on sale this Thursday for more. Like many Spider-Man villains, The Lizard isn't necessarily evil, just misunderstood... That's certainly the case here. Curt is a force for good throughout his life. He's a geneticist who wants to help people, like him, who are limbless. In his eagerness to advance that science, he makes a mistake and that's an occurrence we've seen throughout time, sometimes to our benefit, sometimes to our detriment. Did you base him on any scientist in particular? No, not in particular. I had vague memories of the Open University but I wouldn't say I looked like any of those guys. He is a broken man who wants to fix himself. The Lizard almost becomes a

Jeanine Pirro to 'Extra' on Houston's Estate: Brown Won't Get a Penny

Posted: 20 Feb 2012 10:48 AM PST

"Extra" sat down with FOX News legal analyst Jeanine Pirro, who revealed, "Whitney had a will. The estate will amass a great deal of money as a result of Whitney's death."

pirro-brown.jpg

Pirro cleared up any misunderstanding about Bobby Brown and his connection to Houston's $20-million wealth. "Her ex-husband may think he's entitled to some of her money, but he's not."

The singer's 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is the sole heir.

Whitney's fortune is growing each day, as the diva's $2-million New Jersey mansion is now up for sale, and album sales have markedly increased.

Forbes predicts that Houston's unreleased music, which she sang for her upcoming August film, "Sparkle," will be the "treasure trove for Whitney's heirs."

How many of you would support Netflix if . . .

Posted: 20 Feb 2012 10:10 AM PST

If Hollywood stopped dicking with Netflix and allowed them to stream all the movies at a low price, how many of you would stop pirating and sign up for Netflix?

(I know that this is "against" the guidelines . . . but I'm not sure where else this important question could be raised where it could get readership and a broad variety of opinions. Pirating is a problem that affects the consumer so it is rather stupid that we can't even "comment about" filesharing here.)

Jack White and Lindsay Lohan? Now that's a pairing you'd never expect. But the uuber-cool rocker and the perpetually troubled actress/recent Playboy model will be sharing the late-night spotlight on March 3 when they both appear on 'Saturday Night Live.'

White will be launching his solo career with a musical performance on the sketch show (he'll head out on tour later that month to promote his debut effort, 'Blunderbuss') while Lohan will return as 'SNL' host in an attempt to resurrect her flat-lining career (yet again).

"I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name," White said (via NME).

Loved Ones Share Concern for Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina

Posted: 20 Feb 2012 09:42 AM PST

It was an emotional weekend for friends and family of Whitney Houston as the singer was laid to rest in New Jersey.

bobbikristina-brown.jpg

Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, disappeared after the funeral on Saturday, which triggered additional concern for the 18-year-old -- who was reportedly seen partying. Her family members said she simply needed time alone. Other reports say she didn't disappear and was not using.

Pastor Marvin Winans, who delivered the eulogy, said in an interview with "Good Morning America" that those close to Bobbi Kristina are ready to step in. "I've already talked to people and we have plans," Winans revealed.

Bobby Brown Back on Stage Hours After the Funeral

Reverend Al Sharpton told "Extra," "First we need to find out where the truth and the fiction is, and if there's any truth that [Bobbi Kristina] needs help, we help her."

The Reverend added, "She lost the woman who brought her into the world. People ought to give her time to heal."

bobby-brown.jpg

Whitney's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, left the funeral early, saying security asked him to change seats on three separate occasions and blocked him from seeing Bobbi Kristina. Sharpton said, "I called [Bobby's] cell phone and he told me some ushers had moved him and he felt disrespected. He said, 'Reverend, all I wanted to do was come and show love and respect for Whitney. I wanted to be there with my daughter.'"

Sharpton continued, "This man had a right and responsibility to be there with his daughter."

The star-studded service included Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Tyler Perry -- who told "CBS This Morning," "Our relationship has been private. Nobody even knew that I knew her."

Perry explained, "Nobody needs to know what you're doing when you're helping somebody. I'm that kind of person, I'm that kind of friend."
