'The Hangover 2': 'Extra' Truth or Dare

Posted: 19 May 2011 11:43 AM PDT

The boys of "Hangover" are back in the sequel that takes them to exotic Thailand. "Extra's" Renee Bargh and Terri Seymour caught up with Zack Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms -- and played some Truth or Dare!

hangover2-boys.jpg

First up was Bradley Cooper, who chose "Truth," and complimented Terri on her "beautiful eyes. 'Cause you're both very beautiful," he said Renee and Terri.

A braver Ed Helms went with "Dare," and Bargh asked him to make "the ugliest face you can think of." He succeeded in his dare, with Zack commenting, "That's good."

Cooper urged Galifianakis to "do a Dare," and Zack replied, "'Cause my whole life is embarrassing!" The comedian was asked to imitate one of his co-stars, to which he announced, "I will do an impression of Bradley looking into the mirror... you know what? No, it takes too long!" Cooper simply responded, "Wow."

Terri double-dared Galifianakis to "kiss someone in this room on the lips." Bradley egged his co-star on saying, "Wow, buddy, go for it!" Zack walked straight to "Extra's" audio crew member and planted one on his lips. "Had my eyes on you... and my lips on you," Galifianakis said after the smooch.

Watch the guys recover from their craziest hangover yet... the guzzling begins May 26.

The Dark Knight Rises Begins Shooting

Posted: 19 May 2011 10:04 AM PDT

The Dark Knight Rises starts principal photography

Principal photography has begun on Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' The Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy.

Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar winner Christian Bale (The Fighter) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar winner Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.

Returning to the main cast, Oscar winner Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby) reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

In helming The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan is utilizing IMAX cameras even more extensively than he did on The Dark Knight, which had marked the first time ever that a major feature film was partially shot with IMAX cameras. The results were so spectacular that the director wanted to expand the use of the large-format cameras for this film.

The screenplay for The Dark Knight Rises is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is being produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on Batman Begins and the record-breaking blockbuster The Dark Knight. The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The Dark Knight Rises is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Behind the scenes, The Dark Knight Rises reunites the director with several of his longtime collaborators, all of whom worked together on the The Dark Knight. The creative team includes director of photography Wally Pfister, who recently won an Oscar for his work on Nolan's Inception; production designer Nathan Crowley; editor Lee Smith; and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming (Topsy-Turvy). In addition, Paul Franklin and Chris Corbould, who both won Oscars for the effects in Inception, will supervise the visual and special effects, respectively. The music will be composed by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King).

The locations for The Dark Knight Rises span three continents and include the American cities of Pittsburgh, New York and Los Angeles, as well as sites in India, England and Scotland.

The Dark Knight Rises is a presentation of Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures. Slated for release on July 20, 2012, the film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

Atlanta punk band Black Lips are known for embracing their hard-partying ways, but even they would probably balk at being remembered for accidentally killing super-producer Mark Ronson.

But that's almost what happened when their group hooked up with the mixing desk maestro to make their latest album, the NME reports (via Contactmusic)

Ronson teamed up with the garage rockers last year to work on the band's sixth album, 'Arabia Mountain,' but was apparently struck down with potentially deadly food poisoning after some ill-advised thematic catering decisions.

Briquet Nicolas, ABACA/PA

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has confirmed their long-awaited sixth studio album will arrive before the year is out.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1 in London, Homme said, "We're going to take our one last break that we would get for a month, come back and do Glastonbury, then immediately jump in the studio. Our record will be done by the end of the year. We have enough songs."

With their new album recording starting in June, it seems the only interruption will be an American west-coast tour in late July and early August, where fans might even see the new material being tested live.
