I've been listening to Murder by Death for years now and their new releases never fail to impress me. Now a quintet, the whiskey-loving Bloomington, Ind. band has just released "I Came Around," the first single off its upcoming album, Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon.

Premiering on RCRDLBL today, the track follows in the major-key Americana-punk songs heard on their last album, 2010's Good Morning, Magpie, with the addition of a Celctic-sounding accordion. Raise a glass and check it out below.

Brand New TOTAL RECALL Clip Released

Posted: 11 Jul 2012 10:33 AM PDT

"Total Recall" is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" by Philip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he's got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life - real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred

Hans Zimmer Focused On MAN OF STEEL Sounding Different From His Batman Scores

Posted: 11 Jul 2012 10:05 AM PDT

Perhaps one of the hardest jobs of any composers is trying to write a new score for a Superman film when you know in the back of your mind that Oscar-winning composer John Williams knocked it out the park. Heck Williams knocked it out of the universe. To imagine Supes swooping into action without that iconic theme is almost unthinkable. When Bryan Singer's ill fated Superman Returns came out several years ago composer John Ottman tried to keep much of John Williams sound and only slightly altered it to add his own flare to it. Now Hans Zimmer has the difficult task, but he might be the perfect composer as he has already proven he can take on a memorable theme. When he composed Chis Nolan Batman Begins many wondered if he would incorporate Danny Elfman's Batman theme, but he didn't. Zimmer came up with a sound that was completely different

Can you think of any movies that you consider 'perfect' where you wouldn't make a single change?

Posted: 11 Jul 2012 08:21 AM PDT

Most of the movies we love have a cheesy line here or there, an actor that wasn't quite right, a plot hole, something. Very few are perfect. I nominate Se7en as one such perfect movie.

Can anyone recommend some good Road Trip/Character driven type movies?

Posted: 11 Jul 2012 09:35 AM PDT

I've been really digging movie of that nature as of late; Road Trips and going to places one has never been before, like 'Sideways' and 'The Trip'. Are there any other movies like that that also feature alot of focus on the characters? I also really like 'In Bruges' though that's a bit different from the other two, but it has that same focus on characters.

What movies have you walked out of?

I'm talking about those movies so awful or so unenjoyable that you had to leave because you couldn't take anymore.

what movie made you shout out in the cinema?

for me it was War of the Worlds. When Tom Cruise's son appeared at the end safe and sound, I swore out loud and got a good laugh from those around me. It was such a horrible Hollywood ending
