Simple Plan, All Time Low, Others Address Woman's Death at Toronto's Vans Warped Tour Stop

The Vans Warped Tour's Toronto date yesterday was clouded not just by a torrential thunderstorm which briefly shut down the show, but the death early in the day of a 19-year-old woman.

Although police have yet to release the woman's name or the exact cause of her death, several Facebook and Twitter posts indicate the woman to be Taylor Nesseth of London, Ontario. Nesseth was reportedly lying on the grass as hardcore band Chelsea Grin was performing nearby at The Flats at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre.

"Our hearts go out to the person who died today," the band posted on their Twitter account late Sunday afternoon. "We still don't know everything that happened but it's no time for jokes on our page."

A new book by Duran Duran bassist John Taylor only lends further proof that during their '80s heyday the band were indeed wild boys.

According to the Daily Mail, Taylor's new book In the Pleasure Grove says while Duran Duran were on their 1981 U.S. tour they were given information by tour organizers as to what the legal age of consent was in each state on their call sheets.

"In the left-hand corner of each page of the US itinerary, there was a number, usually 18, 21, or 20," Taylor writes in the book, an excerpt of which the New York Post received. "It was months before I was let in on the secret. The numbers referred to the legal age for sexual intercourse in that particular state."
