Man of Steel Trailer Confirmed to Debut with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Posted: 20 Nov 2012 10:37 AM PST While rumors that the first trailer for The Wolverine would premiere before the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, in theaters on December 14th, have been shot down by that film's director, James Mangold, this morning, another director has confirmed that an even bigger trailer is confirmed for this upcoming release. Yes, director Zack Snyder has revealed that we will get the first full-length look at his upcoming Superman adventure, Man of Steel, this holiday season, attached to prints of Peter Jackson's epic Middle Earth prequel. Zack Snyder spoke with MTV, where he dropped this excellent bit of news, calling the Man of Steel trailer crazy and a lot of fun. "It's fun. I can't wait for The Hobbit, so it will be fun to see our crazy Man of Steel trailer and then enjoy the The Hobbit because that's going to be great. It just feels like a fun Christmas thing to do, drag the whole family out for that action." The director also spoke out on Michael Shannon's performance as the menacing villain Zod. "Shannon is great, he has such great enthusiasm and dedication constantly. You can imagine that you could get actors who go, 'Oh right, it's Zod, it's not 100 percent serious,' or [you can play it] slightly with a wink, there is none of that with him. His effort is to make it realized and to understand this character and what he has to go through, so you have that on one side and you have Henry, who basically is Superman, on the other side and that dynamic. I was just incredibly fortunate to play with those guys who really were giving all they had to bring a level of commitment to the scenes they have together so that audiences will get an opportunity to really have their heroes taken seriously. As serious as I was taking it, and I don't mean that from a depressing kind of way but from a, 'This is important and fun and needs to be given the respect that it deserves,' from that perspective it was so exciting to watch them drink the Kool-Aid of that concept and go all the way." The Man of Steel trailer makes its premiere in cinemas December 13th at Midnight. We will have it online shortly thereafter. Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond. The film is directed by Zack Snyder. |

TDKR: See What Bane Could Have Looked Like In New Concept Art Posted: 20 Nov 2012 10:09 AM PST The Dark Knight Rises hits DVD and Blu-ray on December 4th, but Screen Crush have gotten their hands on the following concept designs a little early.. And here is a behind the scenes snap of Hardy as Bane before his tattoos were digitally removed.. What do you think? Any of these designs take your fancy? Personally I think the final look was the best - by far! But I know there are some purists who would have preferred a more "Luchador" style mask like Bane wears in the comics. |

Posted: 20 Nov 2012 10:17 AM PST The first poster for Evil Dead claims that this will be the most terrifying film you will ever experience. That's a mighty bold claim, one we hope director Fede Alvarez can back up. Its going to take a lot more than gore to scare today's audiences. Jane Levy takes over the Ash role, playing a young drug addict who flees to a cabin in the woods for a clean sweep detox. What she finds in the basement is more horrifying than any LSD trip. Check out the Suburgatory star as she begins her decent into madness, on the eve of a nasty encounter with the infamous 'Rape Vine'. Evil Dead comes to theaters April 12th, 2013 and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore. The film is directed by Fede Alvarez. |

Third Epic Trailer Seeks to Brainwash the Youth of America Posted: 20 Nov 2012 10:04 AM PST Children are the easiest targets, so why not brainwash them early with environmentalist propaganda? From the creators of Ice Age and Rio comes Epic, an animated adventure that revolves around the ongoing battle deep in the "forest" between good and evil forces. A teenage girl finds herself magically transported to this secret universe of talking slugs, one of whom sounds exactly like Tom Haverford, where she must band together a rag-tag team of misfits to save their world...And ours.
