Angelina Jolie to Undergo More Surgery, Wedding May Happen Soon

Posted: 15 May 2013 11:20 AM PDT

Actress Angelina Jolie, who underwent a double mastectomy to prevent breast cancer, is also planning to have her ovaries removed.

In this week's People cover story, the magazine looks at Jolie's extreme health decision and reveals that because she carries the "faulty" BRCA1 gene, Jolie is still at risk of developing ovarian cancer, the same disease that claimed the life of her mother, Marchline Bertrand, in 2007.

Angelina's doctors estimate she has a 50 percent of developing ovarian cancer, and some doctors recommend patients undergo the surgery by age 40, or when a woman is done having children, though it may trigger early menopause, says People. Angelina will be 38 on June 4.

SCOOP: CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER to Have More Car Action Than Any Marvel Studios Movie Yet

Posted: 15 May 2013 10:15 AM PDT

Now that Iron Man 3 is bringing in the cash by the millions and the marketing campaign for Thor: The Dark World is set to begin. Marvel Studios is currently filming Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. right now; and in Cleveland next week. Per two sources, one being a city government official and the other is close to someone working with the production, there will be a tremendous amount of car action scenes filmed for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, in Cleveland. So much that the source said its more vehicle action "than in all previous Marvel Studios films combined." Having a focus on heroes and agents who cannot fly, with the exception of the Falcon, it's no surprise that there will be a ton of vehicle action in the Cap sequel. A heavy presence by S.H.I.E.L.D. means lots of agents chasing villainy throughout the film. The Daily SuperHero

Scarlett Johansson Reunites with Robert Downey Jr. for Jon Favreau's Chef

Scarlett Johansson joins Jon Favreau's Chef

Scarlett Johansson has signed on to reunite with her Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau for his indie comedy Chef.

The story follows Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) who loses his job as a chef in Los Angeles, and decides to start up a food truck to get his culinary juices flowing again, and reconnect with his family. Scarlett Johansson is playing Molly, the restaurant manager and Carl's on-and-off love interest. Sof&#237a Vergara, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, and Robert Downey Jr. co-star in the indie.

Here's what Jon Favreau had to say about bringing Scarlett Johansson on board.

"Scarlett is a tremendous talent and I'm honored to be collaborating with her again. I'm so fortunate to be working with such a fine ensemble."

Jon Favreau is directing from his own original screenplay and producing alongside Karen Gilchrist and Sergei Bespalov of Aldamisa, which is providing the financing. Production is scheduled to begin July 8 in Los Angeles.

In related news, the project has hit a bit of a stumbling block, in the form of a cease-and-desist order. As you may know, there is a competing project entitled Chef, which has Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy attached to star. Sony Pictures, which previously controlled the property before selling its stake to The Weinstein Company, sent out a cease-and-desist order to the Jon Favreau project, to try and persuade them to find another title. We'll have to wait and see if Jon Favreau will budge and re-title the film.

Chef comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Jon Favreau, Sofía Vergara, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson. The film is directed by Jon Favreau.

Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet Talk Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Chloe Bennet and Clark Gregg talk Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Now that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been officially picked up by ABC, airing Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET, fans are wondering how Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) was brought back from the dead, after the events of Marvel's The Avengers. When asked how this resurrection came about, Clark Gregg revealed that he himself was unsure about how Coulson comes back.

"I thought they were pranking me a little bit because there was so much blood on the set of The Avengers. I kept waiting to see, are we going to shoot a version where [Loki] misses? And they didn't, so I was really surprised to get that call and I wanted to make sure it didn't do anything to undermine what we achieved there and when [writer-director Joss Whedon] explained the mystery and how they planned to deal with it, with Agent Coulson being around, I was very sold. He's back. He thinks he knows how he's back. We'll have to see."

He also spoke about what Agent Coulson represents, and touted the visual effects on the show.

"Agent Coulson represents the people who don't have superpowers, the guys who actually can be killed - or at least seem to be and yet come back sometimes ... Marvel has such a lock on how to do really incredibly visual effects and stunts that we've got stuff on our show that I just don't think we've seen on TV before."

Actress Chloe Bennet, who plays the computer hacker Skye on the show, revealed that fans who loved Marvel's The Avengers will love this show as well.

"If you love The Avengers, if you love any of Joss Whedon's work, you're going to absolutely love the show. It's about these people living in a super world dealing with being human. You see these superhero movies and you see the superheroes struggle but you don't see how humans do in a world like that. That's what will draw people in. It's so human. And it's so super and awesome still."

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. debuts sometime this fall on Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET. Stay tuned for the exact premiere date in the next couple of weeks.

'Kitchen Nightmares': Amy’s Baking Co. Blames Facebook Posts on Hackers?

Posted: 15 May 2013 10:27 AM PDT

The Facebook page for Amy's Baking Company was an ugly mess after owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo were featured on Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares." Outraged viewers flooded the restaurant's social media outlets, including Yelp, to call them "horrible," "rude" and their behavior "criminal." The twosome appeared to hit back at posters with an all-caps tirade, but they now say a hacker is to blame.

The couple's behavior on the show was even too much for Ramsay. For the first time, he walked out before renovations. In the episode, which aired May 10, the Scottsdale couple was accused of stealing tips from employees, selling desserts from other restaurants and being extremely rude to customers.
