A new music montage trailer has arrived for Disney's Planes, a feature-length 3D animated adventure for the whole family. This look at the August 9 release features the music of composer Mark Mancina. Watch as crop duster Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) takes flight in hopes of curing his fear of heights to win on the race circuit.

Disney's Planes Take Flight

From above the world of Cars comes Disney's Planes, an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty, a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty's not exactly built for racing, and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty's courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.

Disney's Planes will be released August 9th, 2013 and stars Dane Cook, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards, Stacy Keach, Cedric the Entertainer, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Roger Craig Smith. The film is directed by Klay Hall.

Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness started off strong at the North American box office with an estimated total of $3.25 million taken from late show pre-midnight screenings and the actual midnight showings in the early hours of Thursday morning. The majority (£2 million) came from the sequel's early IMAX 3D release, while approximately $1.25 million of that was specifically from the midnight showings. With a budget of $190 million, it's thought that Star Trek Into Darkness will gross between $80 - 100 million by close of business on Sunday. The CW very nearly had a television adaption of Wonder Woman on its current Fall schedule. However, the network decided last November that the concept needed further development and pulled it from its list of potential pilot orders. Often times, such decisions can mean that a show remains forever in limbo and never progresses beyond a few words on paper that a script writer fervently hopes a network executive will one day take a second look at. Well today, CW President Mark Pedowitz seemed incredibly excited about the potential of Amazon (the show's working title) stating, "Oh God yes," when quizzed about the show receiving the greenlight sooner rather than later. "It's the trickiest of all the DC characters," Pedowitz continued.
