Jamie Foxx can't wait to bring The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to Comic-Con

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Jamie Foxx, who plays the villainous Electro in the sequel, confirmed in an interview that his superhero sequel will be heading to San Diego this summer for Comic-Con 2013. Here's what the actor had to say about his costume, being a part of the Spider-Man legacy, and his director, Marc Webb.

"Oh, man &#8213 it's so much fun. The costume is great. They were very creative with it. It's part of a remarkable legacy: Spider-Man. I mean, when you're growing up as a kid, you know, that's everything. So to be able to be in that is just amazing. Now I'm just waiting to get to Comic-Con and see how people respond to it. [Director] Marc Webb is a genius and Amy Pascal and everybody at Sony have just be so gracious to allow me to have this opportunity. So it's cool."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is still in the midst of principal photography, so there likely will not be a full trailer for this sequel presented at Comic-Con. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy, with Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), and Paul Giamatti (The Rhino) among the new additions to the cast.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes to theaters May 2nd, 2014 and stars Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Sally Field, Dane DeHaan, Andrew Garfield, Martin Sheen, Felicity Jones. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

Posted: 24 May 2013 11:08 AM PDT

If you need a vehicle designed that will grab the attention of the audience, then Harald Belker is one of the first designers that you give a ring. He has made quite a name for himself in Hollywood with his bold Batmbolie designs (1997's Batman and Robin), and sculpted a visually appealing future for vehicle designs with his groundbreaking work in Steven Spielberg's Minority Report. Recently, we featured Harald's Superman: Flyby work, and now he has been kind enough to send us his latest contributions for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness and Joseph Kosinski's Oblivion. As for Star Trek Into Darkness, Harald designed a single seater and Klingon vehicles. You can view images of both designs below, but I would also encourage you to head on over to Film Sketchr as they have a few more images and a rather candid interview with Harald Belker. Here is an excerpt: Q: What vehicle

Tom Cruise Exits MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E; WB Recasting

Posted: 24 May 2013 10:04 AM PDT

According to Deadline, Tom Cruise has jumped ship from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and will no longer be playing the lead role in the Guy Ritchie directed movie. Apparently the actor stepped away from the picture to focus on producing and starring in Mission: Impossible 5, which Paramount and Skydance are now planning to begin shooting before year's end. Cruise would have starred alongside Armie Hammer, and WB will now search for a replacement partner for the Lone Ranger star. The original TV series ran from 1964-68, and starred Robert Vaughan and David McCallum as agents of the United Network Command for Law Enforcement, Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin as they battled the evil forces of "Thrush" (sounds nasty).
