Mr Plinkett ("Pizza Roll Guy") reviews Into Darkness - [7:17]

Posted: 01 Jun 2013 07:16 AM PDT

Let's make a chronological list of good movies set in the pre late modern period(pre enlightenment/french revolution).

Posted: 01 Jun 2013 09:32 AM PDT

I have a boner for ancient and medieval movies these last days so I'll start.Let's see which of these movies can be linked somehow.

.

10,000 BC (Shut up, I liked it, therefore is a good movie)

.

.

Troy (Ancient Greece ~ 1250 B.C.)

300 (Ancient Greece ~ 480 B.C.)

Gladiator (Roman Empire ~ 170 AD)

.

.

Kingdom Of Heaven (Jerusalem ~ 1190 AD)

Robin Hood (England ~ 1210 AD)

Braveheart (Scotland ~ 1280 AD)

.

.

Apocalypto (New World,Central America ~ 1500 AD)

.

.

Les Miserable (France ~ 1820 AD)

This last one stands out from the others but I feel the list should close with it. I think it represent the enlightenment therefore the end of the medieval era.
