The legacy continues. A&E's "Duck Dynasty" will have a new cast member in time for the show's fourth season.

The hit series follows a family's duck call manufacturing business. Alan Robertson, Phil's oldest son, is leaving his life as a Louisiana pastor to join the show as the Dynasty's public relations manager, the New York Post reports.

Dear Hollywood, stop making the music and sounds effects so loud and the spoken dialogue so quiet. I want to hear what people are saying in movies and tv shows

Posted: 28 Jun 2013 09:34 AM PDT

If I'm at home watching something, I have to turn the volume down when the music or sound effects start blaring, then turn it WAY up to hear what anyone is saying afterward.

What is one movie that you can watch over and over again and never get tired of?

Posted: 28 Jun 2013 09:49 AM PDT

I have a few, but right up there at the top is probably the Star Wars movies, Braveheart, maybe even The Three Musketeers.

Pacific Rim Under Attack Featurette

Posted: 28 Jun 2013 10:56 AM PDT

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures Pacific Rim is tracking poorly. In fact, it looks like Grown Ups 2, the first ever Adam Sandler sequel, opening the same day, is going to out perform it at the box office. Scary news for genre fans? Or just the way of the average ticket buyer? Guillermo del Toro is addressing the issue this morning with a statement about the film, and Warner Bros. and Legendary have released an all-new featurette to help entice you to the Jaeger side of this particular July weekend. If someone at Sony or Warner Bros. was smart, they'd make a mash-up video that showed one of the two supernatural forces besting each other on a water slide. Until that time happens, check out the latest footage from this IMAX behemoth, and then read on for Mo's graceful words in accepting what might turn out to be a surprising box office bomb, whose quality and assuasive entertainment value will suddenly be judged against the almighty dollar sign until it becomes a smash-hit on the home video circuit, insuring that a sequel does get made.

Pacific Rim - Under Attack Featurette

Here's what director Guillermo del Toro had to say about the potential ticking time bomb sitting in Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures hands, and how he plans to pull a Keanu Reeves in Speed-type move as the movie hurls toward the box office.

" We just need to keep working. Our numbers are going up. Not in a minor way. Significant. We are on the right track. Whatever sequel opens will have, by definition, higher awareness and numbers across the board, but we are moving strongly in the right direction. We are working on it. We concentrated on the core for a long time -- but we are barely started on the campaign. I am seeing the ads now and I am seeing outdoors and we are now supplementing what we did with character or tone. Thank you all for your good faith and love."

Pop quiz hot shot: Can he cut the red wire in time? Or will this $200 million epic blow up in his face? We hope Pacific Rim is a hit! It's an awesome movie, and one of the summer's funner offerings. Will it be able to stand-up to Adam Sandler and crew, who worked from a screenplay that didn't even include character names on its pages? That remains to be seen, but we wish Mo the best! (And to that one old lonely lady out there who already bought tickets expecting to see a standalone movie about Joel Graham...We salute you!)

Pacific Rim comes to theaters July 12th, 2013 and stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Diego Klattenhoff, Burn Gorman, Robert Kazinsky. The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro.

FEATURE: The Best Of Dave Bautista; Getting To Know GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY's Drax

Posted: 28 Jun 2013 11:00 AM PDT

When it was announced that Dave Bautista had signed up to play 'Drax' in Guardians of the Galaxy, some comic book fans were worried. With the exception of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, it never usually works out when a wrestler decides to tackle a major movie role. However, Bautista showed off his talent on the mic for years in the WWE and would later hone his acting skills with roles in various TV shows and movies. Marvel Studios are also known for making unusual and unexpected casting decisions which have all so far worked out brilliantly (did ANYONE think that Iron Man would make Robert Downey Jr. one of the biggest box office draws in Hollywood?) and I believe that will be the case with the former WWE Superstar. There's a lot more to 'Drax' than his muscles and I have no doubt that "The Animal" is the best possible choice

New PACIFIC RIM Featurette; "Under Attack"

Posted: 28 Jun 2013 10:35 AM PDT

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot and an untested trainee — who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind's last hope against the mounting apocalypse. Argosy Freightliner Revealed on the Set of Transformers 4

Posted: 28 Jun 2013 10:35 AM PDT

The latest vehicle reveal for Transformers 4 has arrived, courtesy of director Michael Bay himself. Its not clear if this is an Autobot or a Decepticon (though quite a few fans argue that Decepticons can never be cars...With a few exceptions). Check out this beautiful Argosy Frieghtliner.

Transformers 4 Freightliner Photo

"The adventure continues to transform with a very different offering from Daimler Trucks North America . . . the imposing 2014 Argosy cab-over truck by Freightliner.

Its quite possible that we are looking at a new cab for Optimus Prime, who at one time in the cartoon and comic book series transformed into a Freightliner COE car carrier. Let's not forget that we've seen the rusted out shell of Optimus Prime in a previous set photo. Ultra Magnus is also a known Freightliner in the Autobot army, taking lead as an Earth Commander. Are we seeing Ultra Magnus for the first time?

Transformers 4 comes to theaters June 27th, 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Bingbing Li, T.J. Miller. The film is directed by Michael Bay.
