Girlfriend of NSA Whistleblower Ed Snowden Posts ‘Heartbreak’

Posted: 11 Jun 2013 10:57 AM PDT

NSA analyst Edward Snowden, who leaked classified information about a secret government phone surveillance program, is on the run in Hong Kong, after leaving girlfriend Lindsay Mills in Hawaii.

Mills, a ballerina and acrobat who hoped to marry Snowden, took to her blog on Monday, writing, "My world has opened and closed all at once. Leaving me lost at sea without a compass. As I type this on my tear-streaked keyboard I'm reflecting on all the faces that have graced my path. The ones I laughed with. The ones I've held. The one I've grown to love the most. And the ones I never got to bid adieu. But sometimes life doesn't afford proper goodbyes." See pics here.

They parked and then met at the door and went inside together."

Superman Henry Cavill, 'Man of Steel' team keep it real

Posted: 11 Jun 2013 10:50 AM PDT

At the beginning of "Man of Steel," which opens Friday, this version of the character doesn't wear spectacles, work at The Daily Planet, soar through the skies or own any clothes with a giant S plastered across the chest. He's a drifter. He says more with actions than words, something the 30-year-old star of 2011's "Immortals" completely understands.

'Pregnant & Dating': Reality show draws snark, but is topic all that wacky?

While some of the on-air dates know about the pregnancies, most of the men have at least one awkward deer-in-the-camera-lights moment when the subject comes up. And then there's the subject of sex, which the show's moms-to-be are happy to mull on air. It's also the subject that generated a gross-out factor among some on social media.

A Place Beyond The Pines: A few questions (spoilers)

Posted: 11 Jun 2013 09:51 AM PDT

I watched this the other night and loved it, but there were 2 things that aren't completely clear to me.

  1. How did Jason get the photo that he sends to his mom at the end of the movie? Last I remember, Bradley Cooper pulled it out of the backpack at the police station and looked at it, then put it back in so I assume that it would still be there in the backpack in a box at the police station.
  2. Is the money that Jason uses to buy the motorcycle with supposed to be part of the money that Bradley Cooper was trying to give back to Eva Mendes? How else does a high school kid have that much money on him? If it is part of the money that Bradley Cooper was trying to give back to Eva Mendes, how did he get it?
