UNCANNY X-FORCE #1 Cover Reveals The Bizarre New Team Line-Up Posted: 10 Oct 2012 11:17 AM PDT Next January, Uncanny X-Force will be relaunched from the creative team of writer Sam Humphries (The Ultimates) and artist Ron Garney (Fantastic Four). Below is the first piece of artwork from the series; Olivier Coipel's cover for issue #1. As you can see, it reveals the full team line-up, as well as Bishop (who was last seen stranded in the future after he failed to kill Cable and Hope Summers). The characters all have new looks and redesigned costumes, although the female Fantomex is perhaps the most surprising change! |
| Scenic Shooting Locations In Iceland Revealed For THOR: THE DARK WORLD? Posted: 10 Oct 2012 11:08 AM PDT We received confirmation just a few days ago that Marvel Studios' forthcoming sequel, Thor: The Dark World will film partly in Iceland, in which 'Malekith the Accursed' actor Christopher Eccleston revealed he'll take part in. And now today, three beautifully scenic landmarks in the Nordic Island country have apparently been identified. According to Þórarinn Björn, @Thrugl on Twitter, the Alan Taylor-production will use a portion of his family's land, which happens to include a beautiful canyon known as Fjaðrárgljúfur. Located in South East Iceland, the nature of the shoot is unknown, as well as when filming will take place. The 2nd shooting location is supposedly one of Iceland's biggest waterfalls, called Skógarfoss. Located in the southern part of the country, according to Reykjavik, access to the waterfall will be limited due to filming for Thor: The Dark World, this Friday. Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling star as the leaders of a unit within the L.A.P.D. whose main goal is to get rid of gangster Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) once and for all. Charlotte Gainsbourg stars as Jo, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac who is found badly beaten by an aging bachelor (Stellan Skarsgård). After recovering from her injuries, she tells her erotic life story to the old man. Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Nicolas Bro, Jesper Christensen, and Jens Albinus also star. Lars von Trier is directing from his own original screenplay, with production currently under way in Cologne, Germany. This drama will be told as a two-part film, each getting a separate soft and hardcore version. A 2013 release is being planned. Uma Thurman was last seen in Bel Ami and on the NBC series Smash. The Nymphomaniac comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen, Nicolas Bro, Jesper Christensen, Jens Albinus. The biggest moment of Tuesday's The Voice wasn't any rockin', upbeat song-and-dance number. Instead, it was the haunting simplicity of Caitlin Michele and Melanie Martinez's cover of "Lights." The Hollywood Reporter adds that Universal obtained the recording without giving AFM any notice. "The producer agrees that all music sound track already recorded, or which will be recorded prior to the expiration of this Agreement, will not be used at any time for any purpose whatsoever except to accompany the picture for which the music sound track was originally prepared," an excerpt from the agreement reads. |
