Back in August, Foo Fighters fans were subjected to the terrifyingly vague comments of frontman Dave Grohl that implied his band was going on hiatus. Grohl said "You guys realize we've got a lot of songs to play. It's the last show of the tour and it's the last show for a long time.''

He later backpedaled on this statement after it sparked an instant outrage among fans and was picked apart by the media. But this past weekend at the Global Citizen Festival held in New York's Central Park, he made similar remarks.

What are some elements that decide whether a movie is "good" or "not"?

Posted: 02 Oct 2012 09:15 AM PDT

I am working on making a reviewing matrix that rates movies on a scale of 1-5 in different categories and then gives an overall score based on those elements. I want to make the categories as succinct as possible.

So far I have Acting, Direction, Writing (plot/script), Production (cinematography/editing), Entertainment, and Spectacle (special effects, aesthetics).

Any suggestions?
