| Man of Steel Toy Commercial Confirm General Zod's Robot Army! Posted: 16 Oct 2012 10:31 AM PDT   We still have around eight months to go before Man of Steel hits theaters next summer. There is still quite a lot we don't know about director Zack Snyder's superhero reboot starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman. Today, two early toy commercials were leaked that shed some light on the story, confirming that Zod (Michael Shannon) will be the main villain, and he will have a robot army. The Black Zero spaceship is also shown here, so it is quite likely we will see this in the movie. These are unfinished commercials, since there is footage from Superman Returns that will be replaced at some point, although it is believed they will air in the spring of 2013. Jason Schwartzman Talks Moonrise Kingdom, on Blu-ray and DVD today, October 16thOne of our favorite films of the year, director Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom, arrives on Blu-ray and DVD today, October 16th. To celebrate, we caught up with actor Jason Schwartzman, who plays a small but important role as a Khaki Scout troop leader responsible for bringing together the film's two leads, Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward, in this romantic and magical coming-of-age adventure for the whole family. We didn't have much time with Jason, so we quizzed him with 'yes' and 'no' questions, only occasionally straying off topic. Here is our conversation, sold short and sweet just like the movie itself. Is Moonrise Kingdom your favorite Wes Anderson movie? Jason Schwartzman: Yes! Is it your favorite Jason Schwartzman movie? Jason Schwartzman: Yes! Is this your favorite character you have ever played? Jason Schwartzman: No...No, wait...Yes! Yes it is! Yes to everything! Would you join the Khaki scouts if it were a real organization? Jason Schwartzman: No. One word why not? Jason Schwartzman: Camping. Camping? So you don't like to camp? Jason Schwartzman: I love to camp. But I feel like...No, let me take this back...One word why I don't want to join... Fire? Jason Schwartzman: Um...Uh...Ah, I don't know. Snakes? Dehydration? I don't know why I wouldn't join. I wouldn't. What do you feel is the most important attribute a Khaki Scout can have? You know what, I'm sorry if I sound like I have a speech impediment. I have a broken jaw... Jason Schwartzman: No, you have a broken jaw? What happened? I fell off my Vespa...Actually, someone sideswiped me, and I took a dive right into the sidewalk. Jason Schwartzman: Oh, my fucking god! Sometimes it sounds like I am drunk when I am talking. It makes me self-conscious... Jason Schwartzman: I wanted to get a Vespa. I guess, maybe I shouldn't? No, do it! I love my Vespa. It's just some of these drivers out here in Los Angeles! They are crazy. But by all means, do it, get a Vespa! Jason Schwartzman: Jeez, I am sorry to hear that. I'm okay. I lived. Its just my tongue, it gives up on me sometimes and I sound crazy. Jason Schwartzman: Don't worry. My tongue gives up on me sometimes too. Oh, wait...Let me think...The most important attribute a Khaki scout can have? I think it's...I don't know the word...I think he should be trustworthy. What's one word that sums up Moonrise Kingdom? Jason Schwartzman: Sublime. What draws certain actors to be in a Wes Anderson movie, and go completely with Wes Anderson's vision? Jason Schwartzman: Wes Anderson. Sorry, that is two words. Jason Schwartzman: Just Wes. Are you going to be in Grand Budapest Hotel? Jason Schwartzman: Yes. This question you can give me a few more words... Jason Schwartzman: This is the most fun I've had today! What brings you to a Wes Anderson movie? Jason Schwartzman: Yeah, I can't answer that in one word. It is Wes again. "Such a fun shoot, riding at night on a nice bike in both Montréal and Brooklyn!" Moffatt tells Spinner. "I like the fact that the concept isn't too attached to the song lyrics and story. It kept the thrill and sensuality but it's not over-narrative. Cheers to all the production crew that became closer friends through the process. Vive la gang des BMX!" Director Gabriel Poirier-Galarneau was particularly impressed with Moffatt's stamina considering her rock 'n' rolling prior to the New York filming. |

| New ARROW Promo, Plus DC Villain Firefly Confirmed Posted: 16 Oct 2012 10:19 AM PDT Here's a new promo for the CW's net hit superhero drama Arrow, showcasing what a few mainstream media critics thought about the pilot. And here, we have a description of episode 10 of Arrow courtesy of Zap2It. "Arrow": In episode 110, Oliver will meet Garfield -- a firefighter who was horribly burned three years ago, and never recovered from the trauma. Since then, he's been abandoned by his wife and kids, and he's now described as a "bitter, vengeful shell of a man." Meanwhile, the Starling City Fire Chief is also haunted by Garfield's injury... since he's the one who was forced to leave Garfield behind to burn. Based on the description 'Garfield' is none other than Garfield Lynn a.k.a. Firefly. As far as the pilot goes, the show is a ratings success and most critics were pleasantly surprised by the show.
