Eli Roth to Return as the Bear Jew in Inglorious Basterds Spin-Off Killer Crow Posted: 12 Jan 2013 10:07 AM PST While doing press for The Last Exorcism Part II, which he produced, writer/actor/director Eli Roth has confirmed that Killer Crow, the proposed follow-up to Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, is in the works. And that it may be the director's next film. Killer Crow is the third in a revisionist history trilogy that started with Inglourious Basterds, and continues with Django Unchained. The movie will close out this series of films, and serves as a spin-off of Inglourious Basterds. The story follows a rogue squad of black soldiers during World War II who go AWOL. Their story will intersect with the characters seen in Inglourious Basterds, and Eli Roth confirms that The Bear Jew will return. "I've known about that project for ten years, so we've definitely discussed it. Quentin knows I'm ready to pick up the bat. I'm always ready to pick up the bat for him if he needs it." Quentin Tarantino has not yet confirmed what his next directorial project will be. He has hinted that Killer Crow might be it, instead of straying from the trilogy only to return later. Do you want to see Killer Crow next? Or do you want to see Quentin tackle a children's movie, the way Martin Scorsese did with Hugo? Killer Crow is in development . The film is directed by Quentin Tarantino. |

A Good Day to Die Hard Gets an R Rating; Yippee Ki-Yay Restored to It's Original Glory Posted: 12 Jan 2013 09:42 AM PST When Live Free or Die Hard was released in 2007, it rubbed some action fans the wrong way. This fourth sequel was given a PG-13 rating, after all three previous movies - Die Hard, Die Hard 2: Die Harder, and Die Hard With a Vengeance - were slapped with that glorious R rating that audiences love. Thankfully, a new report today reveals that next month's A Good Day to Die Hard has been awarded an R rating. Bruce Willis returns as John McClane, who teams up with his estranged son Jack (Jai Courtney) to stop the heist of nuclear weapons in Russia. Mary Elizabeth Winstead also reprises her role from Live Free or Die Hard as John's daughter Lucy. John Moore is directing from a screenplay by Skip Woods, based on certain original characters created by Roderick Thorp. Are you excited to hear that classic line 'Yippee-ki-yay, motherf&*%er?' again? Or do you prefer the TV censored version, "Yippee-ki-yay, Mister Falcon?" We think we know! We also have 7 new photos from A Good Day to Die Hard, which offer a little PG-13 rated eye-candy in anticipation of the R rated material yet to come! Here's a few excerpts from that conversation, including what fans should expect from the 'Fired' teaser for Superior Spider-Man and his response to the initial mandate that Marvel NOW! creative teams would be on books for the long haul...only to have numerous creator changes announced this week. On the Superior Spider-Man, 'Fired' teaser. Alonso: What I will say is that the teaser word -- "Fired" --applies directly to the new Spider-Man -- Otto Octavious -- not the "ghost" of Peter Parker who's whispering in his ear. Oh -- and readers shouldn't jump to conclusions that's a "ghost" either. And yes, this is the status quo. CBS Gives Stephen King's UNDER THE DOME A June 2013 Air Date Posted: 12 Jan 2013 08:26 AM PST CBS has today announced its summer schedule, including the premiere date of the highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King's Under the Dome. Vaughan and Niels Arden Oplev were attached along with Neal Baer (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) as showrunner. It will make its debut on Monday, June 24 in the 10PM slot. On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, |
