Now it's a party! The glorious renaissance of ABC's General Hospital and the return of so many longtime favorites — Finola Hughes, Robin Mattson, Ian Buchanan, Tristan Rogers, Lynn Herring and, soon, Genie Francis — has been sheer bliss for millions of fans. But there's one thing that's been missing: Kin Shriner! Well, good news, my peeps. TV Guide Magazine can now report that Shriner will bring his beloved Scotty Baldwin character back to Port Charles on Feb. 19, just days after the arrival of Francis, his former GH wife. Will Scotty and Laura reunite romantically? Might they even remarry? Will Luke catch the bouquet? Our imagination is running wild! So far, ABC will only hint that "Scotty's arrival in town will have a ripple effect on the Spencer family." But here's some scoop from our exclusive chat with Shriner. Look for more in an upcoming issue of TV Guide Magazine.

Netflix finalizes a deal with Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros. Television

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., The Warner Bros. Television Group, and Netflix, Inc. today announced licensing agreements bringing to U.S. Netflix members complete previous seasons of animated and live-action programming from Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Animation and Adult Swim, as well as the TNT serialized drama Dallas (produced by Warner Horizon Television).

Beginning March 30, 2013, complete past seasons of such great Cartoon Network shows as Adventure Time, Ben 10, Regular Show, Johnny Bravo, Warner Bros. Animation's Green Lantern: The Animated Series will become available on the popular "Just for Kids" section of the world's leading Internet TV subscription service.

At the same time, Adult Swim shows, such as Robot Chicken, Aqua Something You Know Whatever, Sony Pictures Television's The Boondocks and the Emmy-winning Childrens' Hospital from WBTVG's Studio 2.0, will be made available.

Coming exclusively to Netflix in January 2014 will be Season 1 and Season 2 of the critically acclaimed Warner Horizon Television-produced TNT series Dallas. Here's what Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos had to say about the deal.

"We are delighted that Netflix will become the exclusive over-the-top streaming subscription destination for past seasons of favorite Cartoon Network and Adult Swim titles. We're also thrilled to be able to offer the latest seasons of Dallas, one of the greatest all-time guilty pleasures."

Here's what Turner Broadcasting senior vice president of program acquisitions Deborah K. Bradley had to say in a statement.

"The industry has evolved so that TV Everywhere and subscription video on-demand services can coexist with the appropriate windowing strategy, while allowing for more content flexibility to meet consumer demand in the changing digital landscape. We're happy to offer our popular programming to Netflix members, as SVOD services have become another way to grow audiences and can introduce new viewers to our programming."

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution presiden Ken Werner also released a statement.

"We are thrilled to continue our great relationship with Netflix giving their subscribers access to more and more of our programming. This represents another evolutionary step in the TV ecosystem working with Netflix, on the SVOD platform, to improve the consumer experience while being respectful of existing business models."

Zack Snyder Working On a New STAR WARS Movie; Won't Be Connected To The Upcoming Trilogy

Posted: 14 Jan 2013 09:50 AM PST

As we wait for an announcement on who will be helming Star Wars Episode VII, something else has been revealed. According to Vulture, director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, Man of Steel) is seemingly developing a Star Wars project for LucasFilm and Walt Disney. But, it's not Episode VII. The report says that the film he is working on is set in that universe, though it won't be connected to the new trilogy: " He is in fact developing a Star Wars project for Lucasfilm that is set within the series' galaxy, though parallel to the next trilogy. It will be an as-yet-untitled Jedi epic loosely based on Akira Kurosawa's 1954 classic Seven Samurai, with the ronin and katana being replaced by the Force-wielding knights and their iconic lightsabers." That part about this spin-off being based on Kurosawa's masterpiece Seven Samurai is really interesting. The Zack Snyder-directed Star Wars film sounds pretty great to me,

Subjecting an animal to dubstep is pretty cruel, but Harvey the cockatiel will have the last laugh. Reddit user KadeEJ posted this video of his bird singing what sounds like a Skrillex tune, a trick the pet owner "instantly regretted" teaching.

"The moment someone makes a noise he wont shut up," the man said, most likely having learned that age-old lesson the hard way: Do not expose pets and children to EDM. Check it out above, via Gawker.
