Posted: 04 Jan 2013 08:05 AM PST I should probably sleep, but I stayed up and watched The Amazing Spider-man again...And then realized that Irrfan Khan, the actor or Pi from the film Life of Pi was also in Spider-man and makes a reference to Richard Parker, Peter Parker's father...Then I remembered that Richard Parker was also the name of the tiger in Life of Pi...It is now clear to me what happened to Peter Parker's father. He used cross-species genetics and accidentally turned himself into a Bengal tiger. This tale follows Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan), one of the last humans on Earth who hasn't been infiltrated by an alien race known as Souls, who can control the mind and body of their human host. The studio has unveiled three new posters from this adaptation, featuring Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Jake Abel, and Max Irons. The Host comes to theaters March 29th, 2013 and stars Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Jake Abel, Max Irons, Bokeem Woodbine, William Hurt, Frances Fisher, Boyd Holbrook. The film is directed by Andrew Niccol.

Bonhom, 'Live for Now' -- Video Premiere Posted: 04 Jan 2013 01:55 PM PST Filed under: Video, Exclusive Braulio Espinoza One of Pepsi's ever-changing slogans promised, "Where there's Pepsi, there's music." In writing their debut single, dream-pop duo Bonhom weren't inspired by a soft drink campaign, but found the track shared a name with another Pepsi catchphrase, "Live for Now." When it came to filming the video for the song, the band -- comprised of singer-songwriter/producer James Coleman and DJ/producer/songwriter Diwon -- chose to embrace the coincidence. "A couple weeks after we wrote it, we drove past a huge billboard that says 'LIVE FOR NOW -- PEPSI,'" the band tells Spinner. "Once we realized that we basically wrote the anthem for Pepsi's new campaign without even being aware, we thought it would be cool to shoot a video that had a inspirational feel that brought diverse people together with a positive message, almost something Pepsi wish they had done with their campaign. At one point we thought it would be hilarious to start the video off with a big title card that read THIS IS NOT A PEPSI COMMERCIAL."
