Will Friedle Discusses The Difference Between Lion-O and Terry McGinnis

Posted: 07 Aug 2011 10:48 AM PDT

Recently Newsarama caught up with Will Friedle of Boy Meets World fame to discuss the recently premiered Thundercats show on Cartoon Network. Here's the best of the interview where they discuss his portrayal of Lion-O, Batman Beyond, and casting legend Andrea Romano. Friedle has had a long, successful career in the voice-acting industry. Friedle was awesome as Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond. Nrama: So from your perspective as both a fan and the lead voice actor, why do you think now is the right time to revisit these characters and concepts? Friedle: I don't know why now is the right time, it just seems to be. I think it's been 20, 25 years, the characters are still vibrant, and still iconic, and I think enough time has passed now to where some of the original fans might have accepted

At the end of Kill Bill vol.1 what happens to Sofie (the half french half japanese, right hand of lucy lu's character)?

Posted: 07 Aug 2011 09:49 AM PDT

If you remember, @#%!@^ claims she will cut off parts of her body for information, then throws her down a small hill to the steps of a hospital right? At the end there is a close up of sofie, almost suggesting her torso may be all that is left of her, but when she is rolling down the hill to the hospital still has her 1 arm and both legs!

So did she get anything else amputated or what?

POLL: The Avengers VS X-Men

Posted: 07 Aug 2011 09:31 AM PDT

This weeks VS match up finds two of Marvels premier super teams going head to head. In one corner we have every body's favorite gang of mutants The X-Men who now have 5 feature length films to their credit to go along with their numerous numerous animated incarnations. In corner #2 we have Marvels long time protectors of Earth The Avengers, who themselves have had multiple animated adaptations and 5 feature films leading up to the release of a 6th next summer. Read The Following Before Voting! There are literally hundreds of characters to choose from on both sides when trying to create a team sooooo, in an effort to keep all the voters focused on the same fight, I have taken the liberty of choosing who would be fighting on each team. Seeing as how there have been (and as far as we know, will be) only six Avengers on screen up untill now,

Lollapalooza is big. It's a mile-long walk between the festival's two main stages with 90,000 music lovers filling in the big gap. And on Saturday night, America's biggest-selling artist of the last decade drew what could go down as Lollapalooza's biggest crowd to date to the fest's biggest stage, and still made it feel like it wasn't big enough.

"Holy s---, there is a lotta people here," an astonished Eminem exclaimed after pausing a handful of songs deep into his Lollapalooza debut. The Detroit rapper's set list was big too. After kicking things off with 'Won't Back Down' of his five-time platinum album 'Recovery,' Em charged through two dozen tracks, with the help of hypeman Mr. Porter, that spanned his 13-Grammy-winning discography.

Posted: 07 Aug 2011 08:19 AM PDT

The "Bright Knight" would've handled that Joker interrogation scene a little bit different, no? USA Today caught up with the living legend at San Diego Comic-Con along with series co-stars Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman). West remains busy even at the age of 82, voicing the character of Mayor Adam West on Family Guy and also co-writing his new Bluewater Productions comic-book, The Mis-Adventures of Adam West. For those jonesing to see a happier Batman, cable network The Hub shows the Adam West live-action Batman series, Monday through Thursday in the evenings. Batman is a 1960s American television series, based on the DC comic book character of the same name. It stars Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin — two crime-fighting heroes who defend Gotham City. It aired on the American Broadcasting Company

Does anyone know where I could purchase the SciFi channel movie Tyrannosaurus Azteca?

Posted: 07 Aug 2011 08:06 AM PDT

I want to give it to a friend as a gift. It could be new or used but it should be playable in US format. I've been all over the internet checking used DVD websites/eBay and the like. Any recommendations? Do you think going to blockbusters/movie rental places to see if they're selling it would be a good idea?
