Kristen Stewart's Glam-Fang Makeover in W Posted: 12 Aug 2011 10:38 AM PDT "Twilight" beauty Kristen Stewart received the full treatment as the W Magazine September issue cover girl. In an interview with W's Editor-at-Large Lynn Hirschberg, Stewart talked about the whole "Twilight" experience and her final moments as Bella Swan in the last installment "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 and 2." "I f**king love me a vampire," the actress laughed. "I was 17 when I read 'Twilight,' and at the time it was so perfect for me. The script was about young kids who think they can handle stuff that they just can't. And they're going to do it anyway. Because, why not? Just torture yourself. I relate to that. Vampires are a little dangerous--and we girls like to test ourselves." As for saying goodbye to Bella, Stewart explained, "I'd been anticipating that end-of-Bella moment. I was going, 'Oh, my God--I wonder how I'm going to feel.' And the last scene of the shoot was at the wedding. Every single character was there on set. At the end of that day, I was kind of whacked. And so I never really had that moment then. Instead, it happened later. We needed to film one more sort of honeymoon scene and we went to the Virgin Islands. After that scene, my true final scene, I felt like I could shoot up into the night sky and every pore of my body would shoot light. I felt lighter than I've ever felt in my life." Stewart continued, "It was major. The last 'Twilight' book is filled with BFDs, things that people have been waiting for for so long. For me, it was ridiculously dramatic: I get married, give birth, the baby has an incredibly accelerated growth rate we're all very concerned about, and I say goodbye to my dad for the last time ever. It was all big--I could never go, Whew, I'm losing this character." The September issue of W Magazine hits newsstands August 23. |

Former Warrant Vocalist Jani Lane Dead at 47 Posted: 12 Aug 2011 01:30 PM PDT Billy Kingsley, WireImage As our sister site Noisecreep reports, Jani Lane, the former singer of hard rock band Warrant, has died. He was just 47. According to TMZ, police found Lane's body in a room in a Woodland Hills, California Comfort Inn hotel. Right now, no official cause of death has been released. Lane penned Warrant's most famous songs including 'Cherry Pie,' 'Heaven' and 'Uncle Tom's Cabin.' Over the years, Lane and the remaining members of Warrant had a tumultuous relationship. Lane left and rejoined the band several times, most recently reuniting with the original members in 2008. This reunion lasted only a few months and Lane was permanently replaced in Warrant by vocalist Robert Mason. In between his time with Warrant, Lane worked on several solo projects and toured with other '80s metal acts. |

Highlander Remake Loses Justin Lin Posted: 12 Aug 2011 10:00 AM PDT After the back-to-back success of Fast & Furious and Fast Five, director Justin Lin is on fire. But one man can only move so fast, and with Fast & Furious 6 and Terminator 5 moving forward at an expedient rate, Lin had to drop Summit Entertainment's Highlander remake from his roster. The director had been attached to the project since September of 2009. Summit wanted to move quickly on the immortality thriller, but it just didn't fit into Justin Lin's full schedule. He will, however, stay with the project as an executive producer. Summit Entertainment is hurrying to find a replacement director, with Highlander a priority for the studio. They desperately want to fill the fantasy hole that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will leave in their roster once it has played out at the box office. In other news, Justin Lin has revealed that he has the last action sequence, a twelve-minute climax, of Fast & Furious 6, also known as Fast Six, completed. This is what he had to say. "If I'm trying to figure out the formula of what people like, I would be chasing something that I don't understand. My whole thing is about respecting the audience and respecting the evolution of these characters-and they've grown and now the family is back together. And in many ways, some of the big pieces of Fast Six have already been discussed: I already have a 12-minute sequence done. I did it just as an exercise. I had it done before we were finished with Fast Five, actually. So I wanted to do that just to have it there and to be honest with you, I didn't know if I was going to do a Fast Six. I didn't know if people were going to embrace Fast Five and we were going to have an opportunity. But I felt like I really wanted to make sure that the last scene, which I had talked to Vin Diesel about countless times-I wanted to make sure that was done. So actually I boarded it, I pre-vised it, and I cut it. So it's funny, when we were in Atlanta shooting it, I already had the end sequence to Fast Six done. And that was what I wanted to work towards. Now it's like, "wow, people want to see another one-and we have a plan." It's a perfect relationship of the audience embracing it and wanting another one-and us being prepared that if that happens, we know where to go." Fast & Furious 6 comes to theaters May 24th, 2013 and stars Paul Walker, Vin Diesel. Terminator 5 is in development and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is directed by Justin Lin. Highlander comes to theaters in 2012. |

Help finding the title of a movie! Posted: 12 Aug 2011 09:31 AM PDT Hello /r/movies! I'm not sure if posting a request like this is 'kosjer', but eh I said I'd give it a try. Last night during a discussion with a few friends two of them described the scene of a movie of which they couldn't find the title, even after extensive searching. I confidently whipped out my phone, convinced that my Google-fu was stronger than theirs, but my Google-ego got flattened when I realized they weren't kidding when they said it was pretty fucking hard to find. So I thought I'd appeal to /r/movies and see if anything comes of it! The scene they both could remember was: A slightly depressed/sad man standing in an elevator when two kids run in and press all the buttons. The guy just looks at them sadly, sighs and says something like 'Not again..' That's pretty much all they can remember, but googling stuff like 'sad man kids elevator' and the like isn't turning up anything useful. Maybe somebody with a great memory can help us out! Thank you!
