His two mid-'70s No. 1 hits, 'Rhinestone Cowboy' and 'Southern Nights,' almost singlehandedly moved country music out of the backwoods honky-tonks and into middle-class living rooms across the nation. And Campbell's pitch-perfect singing and astonishing guitar playing made him a Hollywood legend from an early age. With the famed Wrecking Crew session group, he played on Frank Sinatra's 'Strangers in the Night,' the Righteous Brothers' 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin',' the Monkees' 'Last Train to Clarksville' and countless other hits. He says that he was 179lbs during Warrior and has increased his body weight to 190lbs to play Bane. But he adds that Batman fans aren't satisfied with his current size and would like to see him at 220 pounds, and jokingly corrects himself an implies that might even want him at 400 pounds. The sad truth is when Hardy talks about how immensely the fans love the character of Bane, and he feels there is no way he can please everyone, he any actor is destined to "fail" when placed into a situation like that. | Stephen King And Steven Spielberg Teaming Up For Showtime Under The Dome TV Series! Posted: 30 Aug 2011 11:19 AM PDT Deadline report that work is finally underway on the long rumored small screen adaptation of the novel from writer Stephen King, Under The Dome. This is one of my favorite books by King, and it's sure to be an undertaking of epic proportions. It's still in it's early stages, but here is the latest. In one of Showtime's most ambitious undertakings, the pay cable network is partnering with Steven Spielberg and Stephen King for Under the Dome, a drama series based on King's 2009 novel, which will be produced by DreamWorks Television. The supernatural thriller revolves around locals at a Maine vacation spot who battle one another when a force field suddenly surrounds their town and cut them off from the rest of the world. Posted: 30 Aug 2011 11:44 AM PDT Actress and newlywed Reese Witherspoon is on the hunt for a Malibu beach home and checked out Brad Pitt's $13-million property on Sunday, according to X17online.  Witherspoon, her husband Jim Toth and kids Ava and Deacon visited five homes during their house-hunting excursion, but Pitt's 4-bedroom, 4,088 sq. ft. estate seemed to impress the brood the most. The group stayed at the house for about 45 minutes, taking their time and soaking in the amazing ocean view. Brad's mid-century modern home features bamboo flooring, 4 bathrooms, glass walls overlooking the ocean, three fireplaces, a tennis court and beach access to a private cove. | 'Housewives' Star Russell Armstrong's Suicide -- The 911 Call Posted: 30 Aug 2011 11:38 AM PDT A chilling 911 call was placed by "Real Housewives" star Russell Armstrong's friend moments after discovering his body on August 15.  The caller, clearly upset, said, "My friend just hanged himself, do you understand? Come over here and stop asking questions." Russell's estranged wife, Taylor Armstrong, was also at the friend's home at the time of Armstrong's death, but did not discover his body. During the call, the friend tried to comfort a shaken Taylor, saying, "Come here Taylor, it's alright. It's alright." Bravo insists the show was not the cause of Russell's death. The network will face its criticism in a suicide special featuring the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," minus Taylor. The special has yet to be formally announced by the network, and it's unclear when it will air. In the meantime, the reality widow and daughter Kennedy are staying with fellow "Housewife" Kyle Richards. |

The story will follow friends 'Devil' Anse Hatfield (Kevin Costner) and Randall McCoy (Bill Paxton) as they return to their respective towns after the Civil War only to find increasing tensions and resentment between their two families that erupts into an all-out war. Powers Boothe will play Wall Hatfield, Anse's even-tempered older brother, a judge and the local West Virginia Justice of the Peace. Tom Berenger is 'Uncle' Jim Vance, Anse's Uncle, and Mare Winningham has taken the part of Sally McCoy, wife of Randall, who loses four sons, a daughter, and her sanity during the feud. Kevin Reynolds (Waterworld) is directing. The Hatfields & McCoys will air sometime next year. |

| Angelina Jolie Reveals How 'Blood and Honey' Began Posted: 30 Aug 2011 11:20 AM PDT Looking gorgeous on the cover of Vanity Fair, Angelina Jolie discusses the secret obsession-turned-screenplay she kept hidden from her family. Vanity Fair Contributing Editor Rich Cohen says Jolie began writing the screenplay for "In the Land of Blood and Honey" when she had the flu and couldn't find anything to read.  The actress and mom revealed she worked on the screenplay after Brad and the kids had gone to bed. One month later, the controversial story about forbidden love in war-torn Bosnia was complete. Cohen said, "Brad took a look at the script on a trip, and when he was finished reading it, he called her to say, 'Honey, it's not that bad!'" He continued, "When it came time to turn it [the script] over to somebody else, she just couldn't stand to do it, so she said by default she became the director." Angie is One of Hollywood's Sexiest Action Stars! The mother-of-six tells the magazine of her experience behind the camera, saying, "I had such a good experience [directing], he [Brad] thinks I'm going to be impatient with directors [in the future]." Angelina also declared, "I'm not pregnant. I'm not adopting at the moment. There are no plans for a secret wedding." | Nancy Grace, Chez Bono cast in Dancing with the Stars Season 13 Posted: 30 Aug 2011 10:39 AM PDT Nancy Grace and Chez Bono will join the cast for Season 13 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The entire cast was revealed by America's Funniest Home Videos host Tom Bergeron and Dancing with the Stars Season 7 champion Brooke Burke, who co-hosted Monday night's announcement at the end of an episode of the reality TV show "Bachelor Pad." DWTS pairs celebrities with professional dancers (and choreographers) who perform in front of a panel of the three judges, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba. Viewers can vote for their favorite dancing couples. Last season's winner was Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and professional dancer Kym Johnson. Six of the past 12 DWTS winners have been athletes. The DWTS head of casting says, "There are some strong personalities [in Season 13]," USA today reports, "Any time it gets people talking, obviously that's a good thing. It gets people watching. "I'm 31 or 32 years old and hangovers last all day, and I was overweight and feeling like s---." With Gibbard's band at the apex of their career, the then-rotund singer best known for his lyrical wit made a decision that it was time to clean up his life. He soon found a replacement for those 2AM whiskey sessions -- running. "Honestly, it's a lot easier going to work when you're not hungover," Gibbard laughs. "I find that I'm a lot more balanced; the lows and highs are a little bit more even.
