JOHN CARTER Has Earned It's Budget, Still Not Profitable But Trending In The Right Direction

Posted: 03 Apr 2012 11:15 AM PDT

BoxOfficeMojo reported recently that John Carter has earned $254.5 million at the box office. That's a smidgen over its $250 million dollar production budget but Forbes acknowledges that the cost of marketing has to be accounted for [it's rumored John Carter spent $100 million on marketing, giving it a cumulative budget of $350 million]. John Carter has earned a mere $66 million domestically but has earned $188 million internationally, with the film still to open in Japan later this month, several more millions are likely to be added to the film's gross. Recently it was reported that John Carter would put Disney in the whole by $200 Million for their second fiscal quarter. The key part of that sentence being "second fiscal quarter". The film will surely go on to earn more money in Disney's third and fourth quarters and it's possible that the film

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN: Brian Michael Bendis on the Animated Series & Status of Powers

Posted: 03 Apr 2012 10:59 AM PDT

Presented to Bendis was the question of what it was about THIS version of Spider-Man that separates it from the various animated incarnations that have aired over the decades. "The other Spider-Man shows were produced by other people," says Bendis. "Now Marvel is its own studio. This is about Peter Parker trying to be the best version of himself he possibly can. Nick Fury, who is in charge of the Marvel universe, challenges him to accept his offer to train him to be the ultimate Spider-Man. Every episode is like a little, cool travelogue for the Marvel universe -- they get to meet these other superheroes and learn something from them. It's also surprisingly funny -- people forget how funny Spider-Man is." Moving on to the subject of the FX adaptation of his comic Powers, he updates, "The pilot is done, and based on the strength of that, FX has ordered more scripts.

Jaleel White on 'DWTS' Stress: 'It Was a Tough Personal Week for Me'

Posted: 03 Apr 2012 11:40 AM PDT

The emotions ran high on "Dancing with the Stars" Monday, especially for contestant Jaleel White.

The former "Family Matters" star reportedly "flipped out" on his partner, Kym Johnson, while the two rehearsed last Friday, after he accidentally stepped on her foot and she reacted.

White allegedly screamed at Johnson, and when fellow contestant Donald Driver and pro dancer Mark Ballas tried to intervene, the argument escalated, according to Us Weekly.

On top of that, last week White also had to deal with a published allegation that he physically and verbally abused an ex-girlfriend during a child custody disagreement.

After the performances, "Extra" correspondent Tony Dovolani asked White about the stress. He replied, "It was a tough personal week for me," but he praised partner Kym, saying she was a "damn good teammate."

Ballas explained to Dovolani the fight "wasn't as big of a deal as everyone is making it. People get stressed. People go through frustrations. It's fine now."

Watch after-party interviews with the "DWTS" contestants about Jaleel!

Meanwhile, "Extra's" own Maria Menounos and partner Derek Hough had the "DWTS" Twitter-sphere all fired up over their sexy, did-they- kiss? rumba. "Three nines! Bring it, baby!" exclaimed Maria.

Katherine Jenkins and William Levy scored the first 10s of the season, with Levy's partner Cheryl Burke joking to Dovolani he might take it all off "if we make it to the finale."

Check out after-party footage with Levy, celebrating his perfect 10's!

VIDEO GAMES: Photos of Canceled JUSTICE LEAGUE MORTAL Video Game

Way back when George Miller was set to make his version of a Justice League movie game studio Double Helix was set to make a video game adaptation for the film. Once the game got canceled Warner Brothers decided to let them continue on with the project until they ultimately scrapped it. The people over at Shogun Gamer have come across some new imaged from the game that we uploaded by artist Jonathan Gwyn who served as the lead artist on the game. Check the images out below. The game was set to be a third person brawler type game, similar to what we saw with the Green Lantern game. No word on what the story would have been had they went through with the game but based on the screen shot it looks like The Flash's rouge gallery would have been involved some how. The Justice League Mortal film would have stared
