Captain America Comes to DVD July 29th! Posted: 16 Jun 2011 11:06 AM PDT Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's "manufacturing on demand" ("MOD") program is excited to announce its newest addition, Captain America, available on DVD as part of MGM's Limited Edition Collection. Based on the bestselling Marvel Comics series, Captain America stars Matt Salinger as a crime-fighting superhero whose strengths and abilities may save the United States from nuclear destruction. During World War II, a brave American soldier (Matt Salinger) volunteers to undergo experiments to become a new super-soldier, codenamed "Captain America." Infiltrating Germany to sabotage Nazi rockets pointed at the U.S., Captain America faces off with Nazi superhuman warrior Red Skull (Scott Paulin) who defeats the hero, throwing him into suspended animation. Labor Day Adds Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin Posted: 16 Jun 2011 10:43 AM PDT Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin have signed on to star in Labor Day for director Jason Reitman. The project is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Joyce Maynard, which centers on an escaped convict and murderer who hides out with a single mother and her young son. Kate Winslet will play the mother while Josh Brolin is set to portray the murderer. Here's the official description of the novel below. "With the end of summer closing in and a steamy Labor Day weekend looming in the town of Holton Mills, New Hampshire, thirteen-year-old Henry - lonely, friendless, not too good at sports-spends most of his time watching television, reading, and daydreaming about the soft skin and budding bodies of his female classmates. For company Henry has his long-divorced mother, Adele - a onetime dancer whose summer project was to teach him how to foxtrot; his hamster, Joe; and awkward Saturday-night outings to Friendly's with his estranged father and new stepfamily. As much as he tries, Henry knows that even with his jokes and his "Husband for a Day" coupon, he still can't make his emotionally fragile mother happy. Adele has a secret that makes it hard for her to leave their house, and seems to possess an irreparably broken heart. But all that changes on the Thursday before Labor Day, when a mysterious bleeding man named Frank approaches Henry and asks for a hand. But with the last record, it wasn't so much I felt the record went badly or anything. It was much more I felt a series of pressures that I wasn't able to understand or process. Gaga's Meat Dress Makes Cut at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Posted: 16 Jun 2011 11:03 AM PDT Remember Lady Gaga's outrageous meat dress? It's now a museum-worthy dish. The beefy dress, famously worn at last year's MTV Awards, has been preserved and will be served up for display under glass at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. "It's going to be in a case and we are putting some canisters in there to control the humidity, and then we have this other canister that soaks up the glutens," Hall of Fame chief curator Jim Henke told MTV News. "But it's in a sealed case and we have the gels to control the environment in there." Following the award show, the raw getup (including the boots) was sent to dry storage where a chemical preservation process turned the edible items into a kind of beef jerky. The dress and boots turned brown from the process and were painted red to give it the authentic tartare look. Gaga's Wardrobe Malfunction! Back in September, Ellen DeGeneres asked Lady Gaga about the significance of the dress, and Lady replied, "It has many interpretations but for me this evening. If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat."

According to HollywoodLife.com, there were some signs that the nuptials may take place Father's Day: 1. Father's Day holds a special meaning for Kim because her father, O.J. Simpson friend and attorney Robert Kardashian, passed away in 2003. They thought the reality TV star would want to honor him by having her wedding on Sunday. 2. Humphries was spotted going into a tux store this week with future brothers-in-law Lamar Odom and Scott Disick. 3. Kim had a major hair appointment, which included extensions.
