Although The Bachelorette's two-on-one dates usually end with at least one happy guy, on this week's episode Ashley axed them both. "Ashley was in a bad mood," host Chris Harrison tells us. He also admits that Ben C.'s exit looked abrupt because of bad editing. In our weekly chat with Harrison, he says he stands by the violent group date, tells us why Ames is the most fascinating guy he knows, and how next week's return of Bentley leaves the remaining men a bit upset with the girl they're fighting for.

Something about the Dark Knight screenplay that always bugged me

The phrase "playing this one close to the chest" is used on two distinct and separate occasions. It's not such a common phrase, so it seemed out of place to be used twice. Does that bother anyone else? Was it supposed to be some inside joke? What gives?

Is the impact of Kill Bill lessened when you realize just how much of those movies were direct homage(s)?

Posted: 21 Jun 2011 11:12 AM PDT

i'm not sure what the plural of homage is. Anyways, when you look at how much of the kill bill movies are directly referencing movies that Tarantino loves (down to the costumes, the shots, the plot itself), does that make them less awesome movies? Or do you begin to feel a bit ripped off? or something in between?

editted a typo, fool.

Later this year, Rick Rubin can look forward to hearing his aural imprint on the new Red Hot Chili Peppers record, but for now he's still singing the praises of Adele.

The UK soul singer may be currently celebrating her 10th week atop the US album charts, but the producer of five tracks on her second long-player '21' reckons there is more success still to come.

Speaking to Billboard, Rubin revealed there could be five singles due from the set. "And she's barely toured at all, so really it's in the baby stages. I think it's a beautiful album that we're all really proud of, and it's amazing that it's connecting with people in the way that it is and we just hope it continues to do so."
