The song's already-syncopated beats have been flipped to accommodate a laser-lit dance floor. It's pretty different from the original, but still rocks. "Shotgun Wedding took our tune from the beach to the dance floor, and masterfully at that," singer Kenny Vasoli tells Spinner of the remix. "For a genre that usually isn't exactly my cup of tea, I drank it right up."

Posted: 13 Sep 2012 09:46 AM PDT As outlined in this thread, we will vote on our favorite 31 horror movies, and watch one each day in October. There will be a discussion thread for each. 31 Days of Halloween! Feel free to post multiple movies, discuss the movies or the thread, but please do not post more than one movie per reply. This way, we will easily be able to pick out the top 31. Vote on which ones that you would like to watch. I am hoping that we get a wide spread with many different styles. This project is starting early so that we all have plenty of opportunity to download, rent, buy, or borrow these films. I will leave this thread active for a few days so that everyone gets an opportunity to vote and participate. I plan on tallying the results on Monday, 5pm US Central Time. In Artifact, the actor and rock star exposes his soul as his band faces off against their record label, Virgin/EMI,in a bitter court battle and also works on a follow-up to their album A Beautiful Lie. Spinner's uncertain whether we'll be able to talk to the notoriously press-weary "Jordan Catalano" during the festival, but we did recently ask his fellow music-loving actor Elijah Wood about the pair's much-publicized spat at the 2006 MTV U Woodie Awards.
