    Trailer For HALLOWEEN Re-Release Hits

    Posted: 23 Sep 2012 09:43 AM PDT

Beginning October 25th, John Carpenter's Halloween will terrify a whole new generation of moviegoers. The movie is expected to have a pretty wide release, so far as we know in the US only. Justin Beahm's new mini-doc You Can't Kill The Boogeyman: 35 Years Of Halloween will screen with it. Here you can see a trailer for the re-release, featuring that iconic John Carpenter score. If you have never seen the original Halloween, I suggest you do so this October.. Compass International Pictures, Trancas International Films, Screenvision, and HalloweenMovies.com are proud to present the one sheet for this October's U.S. theatrical re-release of John Carpenter's 1978 masterpiece, HALLOWEEN. The poster, designed by artist Austin Hinderliter, marks the return of THE SHAPE to cinema lobbies across the country, presenting the ultimate evil in shadow and autumnal oranges.

Emmy host Jimmy Kimmel is ready to poke some fun at the stars this Sunday, but don't expect him to be Ricky Gervais Jr.!

"I'm hoping to be a funny host," he told "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli. "I'm not looking to roast the room. There will be a little bit of that…Ricky Gervais instilled fear in the hearts of [the audience members]."

HELP ME REDDIT, YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE

    Posted: 23 Sep 2012 09:27 AM PDT

So my dad made me watch this movie when I was about 10. (I'm 18 now) and it still scares me when I think about it. PLEASE NAME THIS MOVIE FOR ME. I can't remember the whole thing but I will explain it the best I can.

So from what I remember there are 2 boys sharing a room and they keep flicking the light on and off until their mother comes down and takes out the bulb. a little later when the kids are sitting there the sister is on the stairs and flicking on and off the light but there is no bulb in it. the boy chases the girl up the stairs and goes around the corner to find the girl fast asleep.

At another point the boy movies his bed and there is a cross(?) on the wall. he becomes friends with this entity and his parents think he is going crazy so they put him in a mental hospital. The entity doesn't like this and starts haunting the family.

The only other parts I remember is that the family is trying to sleep in the living room together because they are so scared and the mattresses start breathing. The husband goes to work and the truck turns on by itself and runs the man into the side of the building.

Thats all I can remember. This has been with me for 8 years and I want to watch it to get over it. Thanks
