Co-created by The Shield's Shawn Ryan and screenwriter Karl Gajdusek, Last Resort tells the story of Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher), the captain of the nuclear submarine the USS Colorado. When Chaplin and his executive officer Sam Kendal (Scott Speedman) question an order to fire warheads into Pakistan, their sub is fired upon by another American vessel, forcing them to take up residence on the French Polynesian island of Sainte Marina until they can piece together what happened and prove that they aren't traitors.

But can the show sustain its high-action, serialized premise on a female-skewing network like ABC? The creators certainly think so....

TNT has ordered a 15-episode sophomore season of its original series Major Crimes, the network announced Thursday

Amanda Bynes Pleads Not Guilty to Hit-and-Run Charges

Amanda Bynes has pleaded not guilty to two counts of hit-and-run, TMZ reports.

The actress was not initially charged for the first hit-and-run from April, but after Bynes was involved in a second incident in August, prosecutors reopened the first case. Bynes was officially charged with both counts in early September.

We've known that Kelly Hu would be featured in The CW's Arrow as China White since San Diego Comic-Con, but other than a few teases from Stephen Amell, we've heard nothing. Now, with the show soon debuting we finally have our first look at how Kelly Hu (X-2) will appear on the show. China White originates from the comic book Green Arrow: Year One, however according to Zap2It, she'll be hired by a criminal by the name of Martin Somers to take out Laurel Lance, as she tries to take him down with the law. Perhaps we'll get our first look at Deadshot soon, as well. China White is expected to appear in Episode 2, presumably airing on October 17th.

Sony Pictures has released the second international TV spot for Skyfall, the latest 007 adventure starring Daniel Craig as the famed MI6 agent. We also have a new banner featuring the new gadget master Q, portrayed by Ben Whishaw. Finally, the official Twitter feed for Skyfall has announced that director Sam Mendes' spy thriller will be released in IMAX theaters one day early on November 8.

VIDEO GAMES: New Demo Trailer For Ubisoft's AVENGERS: BATTLE FOR EARTH

Fans of Marvel's The Avengers may particularly enjoy this trailer, as it recreates two famous Hulk scenes from the film. One of which is when Hulk smashes Loki, and the other is when he randomly punches Thor. The demo for Avengers: Battle For Earth is now available on Xbox Live, and you can get it on the marketplace although it should be noted that you require a Kinect. Have you tried the demo, and if so, what do you think? Sound off below.

Nicolas Cage stars as Grug, the patriarch of this prehistoric family forced to leave their home behind after a devastating earthquake. As they journey to find a new home, they encounter an intriguing nomad (Ryan Reynolds), who Grug's daughter (Emma Stone) falls for. Take a look at the colorful world this family inhabits.
