Taylor Kitsch is "Pumped" About the Trailer for John Carter of Mars Posted: 17 Apr 2011 10:00 AM PDT With all the hype surrounding this summers slate of CBM's, many have forgotten, or simply overlooked the fact that Director Andrew Stanton has already wrapped filming on the John Carter of Mars movie based on the writings of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Although JCOM is not due out in theaters until March of next year, it sports an incredible cast of actors, in what should be at the very least, a visually stunning movie. Taylor Kitsch who plays the title character in the film sat down with MTV News only yesterday and stated that although the film is a year away, he has had the opportunity to see the trailer. "We're doing some fun little pickups right now. I saw the official trailer hours ago. [I'm] over the moon. We are just ... it's a special film. It's going to be a good ride. I'm pumped!" What movies did you love but can't stand to watch anymore? Posted: 17 Apr 2011 06:40 AM PDT The summer of 2007 life was going shitty and i had no internet nor cable. But i did have a dvd player and the first live action transformers movie to watch over and over again. I watched that movie so many times i knew the entire movie's script forwards and backwards. I love this movie and will probably never watch it again in my life Also for me, batman begins. Love it to death. Made me love batman again after all those shitty batman movies but after the 30th time, it didn't feel like i was experiencing the movie anymore. Just that it was on. I set a rule for myself that i could only watch the dark knight twice so i wouldn't hate it [link] [33 comments] |

Posted: 17 Apr 2011 09:02 AM PDT God bless the French for putting this stuff on the big screen for me. I've seen Shining, Strangelove, 2001, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut. I can only see so many, but I want to see a mix of favorites and new ones. Anyone wanna help me decide on the new ones? [link] [2 comments] |

Jesus Christ Superstar(1973) Any thoughts? Posted: 17 Apr 2011 09:34 AM PDT Personally one of my favorite musical-to-film movies done by Hollywood. Even if you're not Christian, it tells the story of Jesus and Judas from a great, unbiased standpoint. Filmed on location in Israel, here's a clip of the iconic opening with the overture http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCfgnMNDcRo [link] [comment] |
