Jerry Seinfeld on Donald Trump: 'I Love Him' Posted: 28 Apr 2011 11:18 AM PDT "Extra" caught up with comedian Jerry Seinfeld at the Tribeca Film Festival Vanity Fair Party and gave us the inside scoop on why he loves Donald Trump, despite Trump's recent public rant aimed at Jerry for pulling out of his son's charity event. Seinfeld said, "Let me say this about Donald Trump. I love Donald Trump, all comedians love Donald Trump. If God gave comedians the power to invent people, the first person we would invent is Donald Trump... God's gift to comedy." What Did The Donald Say About Jerry? The Donald recently sounded-off to "Extra" and expressed his disappointment over Jerry canceling, because "St. Jude is one of the great charities and Jerry cancelled on St. Jude and the kids... these incredible kids that are trying to get better. It was a nasty thing to do." Trump's Latest Feud with... Robert DeNiro?Even though he won't attend the St. Jude benefit, Seinfeld made a donation to the organization and confessed, "I have no problem with him. I just can't be with him." |

Pantha Du Prince Makes Techno for the Timid Posted: 28 Apr 2011 02:00 PM PDT Filed under: News, Exclusive, New Releases Courtesy of Pantha du Prince He grew up in Germany straddling many scenes, from shoegaze shows to afterhours clubs, which fueled his 2010 critically-acclaimed landscape-techno album, 'Black Noise.' Collaboration with revered experimenters Animal Collective (also appearing on the just-released remix album, 'XI versions of Black Noise') landed him on top indie blogs. With the music snob elite cooing over him, one wonders how that affects the dancefloor at his live shows. After all, indie kids don't dance, do they? "They do. They do that," Weber tells Spinner. "After a while you have a shaking, swinging crowd in front of you." But, he concedes, a static crowd is no sweat off his brow. |

I'm lovin' Takashi Miike's films, there's a lot though... Posted: 28 Apr 2011 10:08 AM PDT I would like to watch more, but it's overwhelming to choose. I've seen the common ones, Gozu, Ichi the Killer, Dead or Alive, and Audition. Recently I re-watched The City of Lost Souls, which is probably my favorite thus far. Can anybody recommend some others? What are your favorites? [link] [comment] |
