THOR To Hit DVD/Blu-Ray Sept. 13th; Details Revealed! Posted: 11 Jul 2011 10:33 AM PDT IGN has revealed that the latest Marvel Studios film, THOR, will officially hit home video September 13th, later this year. In addition, we have three cover arts - one for regular DVD, one for , and another for Blu-Ray 3D. We also have the DVD/Blu-Ray details, consisting of bonus features such as a sneak peek for next year's The Avengers. Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures are announcing the release of Thor on 3D, and today, we've got your first look at the what's included on the three versions. The discs will be available beginning Sept. 13, 2011. The Thor three-disc Ultimate Set includes the film on Blu-ray in high-definition 3D and high-definition 2D, as well as on standard-definition with a digital copy. What to Expect When You're Expecting Adds Elizabeth Banks Posted: 11 Jul 2011 10:25 AM PDT Lionsgate and the producers of the film adaptation of the worldwide bestselling book What to Expect When You're Expecting are thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Banks (The 40 Year Old Virgin, W., The Next Three Days, 30 Rock and Lionsgate's upcoming The Hunger Games) has been cast to star with Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker and Anna Kendrick in the film, which is expected to begin shooting mid-Summer 2011, and will be in theaters everywhere on May 11, 2012. Banks' character is baby-crazy - the author of a children's book about breast feeding and owner of The Breast Choice boutique, she is militant in her beliefs about what makes a good mother until she gets pregnant for the first time. Kirk Jones (Waking Ned Devine, Nanny McPhee) is directing the film, which was acquired from a script by Heather Hach and re-written by Shauna Cross (Whip It!). The film is based on the book by Heidi Murkoff that has been on the New York Times bestseller list for over 500 weeks. Lionsgate has worldwide rights to the film. Banks is represented by Alissa Vradenburg of Untitled Entertainment for management, United Talent Agency, and law firm Ziffren Brittenham LLP, who negotiated the deal on her behalf. Robert Melnik, SVP Business & Legal Affairs, negotiated the deal on behalf of Lionsgate. The Oscar winner, 47, has been tweeting his exercise routine, kicking off the summer with a vigorous bike ride June 18. "First ride in quite some time. Sore legs, sore ass, be worse tomorrow and the next day," wrote Crowe. The actor gained 63 pounds for 2008's "Body of Lies," and admitted to a struggle with getting back to his "Gladiator" physique. During his 105-day training period, Crowe's diet plan includes "taking in roughly 2400 cal/ 2600 cal incl all beverages," and intensive workouts. Crowe wrote, "body movement with weighted objects" and "sweaty 4-shirt mornings" and finally, "i'm toast." |
