Smart People director Noam Murro will likely direct 300: Battle of Artemisia for Warner Bros. An official offer is said to go out to the director early next week.

The studio was down to both Noam Murro and Jaume Collet-Serra to direct 300: Battle of Artemisia, which was previously known as Xerxes. 300 director Zack Snyder wrote the screenplay for 300: Battle of Artemisia along with Kurt Johnstad. No production schedule was given as of yet.

I just watched SMALL TOWN MURDER SONGS directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly with Peter Stormare (Fargo, Prison Break) as lead cast. Great film & must watch if you're a fan of Coen Brothers style movies.

I just Saw Better Luck Tomorrow.. and I think all of you should see it. If you liked the movie Kids, you might just love this one.

Posted: 16 Jul 2011 08:44 AM PDT

A few things I have to say about this movie: Give it a chance. The first few minutes may feel awkward, but you have to understand that that's intentional*. Most of the movie is incredibly well acted, and shot and edited in a very hectic way. You'll like it.

*One of the best Asian-American pieces of cinema I've seen. the best thing about it is that It's not about asian people necessarily, but the role they play in society.

Now go watch this movie. It's underrated and it deserves all of the attention it can get.
